"Terrible experience! My fiancé called to make an appointment with Ms. Salemi, whom he addressed as "DR" when he first called her. She was very quick to snap at him that she is NOT a doctor. She didn't elaborate and he had to pull out of her that she was a Social Worker of some capacity. He pushed that aside, afterall we all have our bad days, and decided to continue on and make an appointment with her - she says she works very unconventional hours and was happy to see him at 6p. He showed up at the location that was provided 15 minutes early and began to attempt to contact her, as the location was not familiar to what was described. She did not answer and after waiting for almost an hour he gave up and left. I contacted Ms. Salemi with no answer and roughly 30 mins later missed a call from her. I quickly called her back and was "greeted" by an EXTREMELY unwelcoming woman who harshly told me that she tried to call him back (though no missed calls on his phone) and that she "can't just be calling out to try to reach people all day". She continued on to let me know that she also attempted to call me back but my voicemail box was full - I told her that I'd let that get away from me and I've been meaning to clear it out, she reiterated that she did not work unconventional hours, then told me that, if I expected individuals to get in touch with me I should have an operable voicemail or just not expect to hear back from anyone (yet again), that my fiancé has made a mistake and that she never made the appointment. This is a complete and utter lie, as I have the record where she was called in my call log, my fiancé distinctively remembers the aforementioned - referring to her as "Dr. Salemi" with her saying that she is not a DR and her heavy New England accent that he is completely familiar with from their prior conversation. Had she admitted that she made a mistake everything would have been fine on our end - this, however is not what happened. It is very ufortunate that Ms. Salemi has made this mishap, as my fiancé was very positive about seeing a therapist for the first time and now has a totally negative outlook on the field in general. He will probably not seek help from this point forward due to the negativity that was projected from Salemi, and that is an extremely unfortunate thing for us both."
