"Jemie Russell is my grandma and she is the most perfect therapist ever she knows what she is doing and she is one of the best. I know that she has been doing this job for over 5 years there is nothing to not like about her. She even sometimes lets you bring your dogs in (I asked her thats how i know). Her favorite dogs are pitbulls by the way. All in all i know that no one should be calling her unstable or rude and not able to do her job."

"I started seeing dr. Russell as a patient in 2011, and continue to be. I have always found dr. Russell to be professional and compassionate. Sometimes I don't like the advice or suggestions that she gives me, but she tells you what you need to hear not what you want to hear. In every case when I would get home and tell my wife what she had suggested me to do or try my wife would encourage me to just try it and each and every time it helped. I don't understand the workings of the mind if I did I wouldn't need therapy. I can say that without doctor Russell walking me through some very very dark times I would have ended my life years ago. If you are a patient of hers, be patient progress takes time. She doesn't sugarcoat things like I said before she tells you what's going to help you not the easy way out that you may be looking for. My wife has seen how much her sessions help me that anytime I am struggling, my wife always suggests that I call Doctor Russell and get in to see her before my next appointment. I'm the first to admit I'm not the easiest person to get along with, but I have never had doctor Russell be unprofessional or discourteous. I highly recommend her as a mental health provider."

"I was highly disappointed in the whole experience. I am a healthcare professional myself so I usually try to be understanding of people but from start to finish my opinion only got worse. She seemed flustered and scattered from the begining. She is NOT very welcoming or engaging. She makes you want to do the opposite of sharing which is pretty ironic for her line of work. Most of the session she was more concerned about typing into her computer then looking up and actually making eye contact with her clients or engaging us to want to talk. You wouldnt believe the numerous moments of awkward silence looking at her typing away. I almost walked out but the session was more for my daughter so I allowed things to play out for her sake but even she told me she never wanted to go back. It was me who suggested to step out so that my daughter could talk freely, i did NOT have a problem with that. Like i said before, even my daughter told me she did not feel comfortable returning."
