"2 visits (also 2 co-pays) to diagnosis a “slight ear infection” with an allergy to an antibiotic. Dr. Cheas didn't run any test on the first visit even when rash was present said it was viral (mind you I breastfeed for a year and my child is never sick b/c she is not in day care either.) Second visit he said there was a slight ear infection, prescribed antibiotic only to find out she was allergic to it. After 2 days of taking the antibiotic, he told us to stop but that she would need to be reevaluated before he would prescribe something different which meant she would need to be seen 3 times in a week for the same thing. My husband kindly asked if he would waive the Co-pay since his wife was just here 2 days ago. Office manager said she would call my husband back with an answer and she never did. Then I went in for my sons 4 month checkup, 2 months later and they told me I had a balance on another account. I kindly said that the office manager never called and talked to my husband. The receptionist asked me for my husband’s phone number and I gladly gave it to her. We never received a phone call only a letter to reveal that we were kicked out as patients. Honestly, I’m glad because I don’t want to do business with people like this. We never said we wouldn’t pay it, all we wanted was a phone call to discuss. Now that the shock is over and my daughter has been seen by her new Peds doc I’m thankful he kicked us out. It’s like I was scared I felt that he was the only one in Leesburg that I could trust. To me Dr. Cheas is just about the money and not very patient centered."
