"Dr. Gates is a wonderful human and exceptional surgeon with a very caring bedside manner . He took his time to explain my hysterectomy to me . The surgery went exceptionally well . I was up and waking a few hours after the surgery with minimal pain . I spent the night at the hospital and he came to visit me that evening and the next morning to be sure I felt ok . He took his time with me and answered all of my post op questions . I never thought that such a huge surgery ( for me ) could go so well. His office staff are so friendly and kind , like family . I am so happy that I chose him for my hysterectomy ."
