"Words cannot describe how grateful I am to be a patient of Dr. Amanda Kane and her nurse Buffy. I am a male and recently found out I had very low testosterone after getting my blood tested because I had no energy, no quality sleep, and was suffering from night sweats. After being diagnosed with low T, I tried the Testosterone injections for around two months from a men's TRT replacement clinic. For me, it was an emotional and physical roller coaster ride which included painful injections every two weeks. You also needed to show up on a certain day and if you didn't, it messed up your injection schedule. Imagine if you go on a vacation or have business travel and you can't be there every two weeks to get that shot for the rest of your life. That wasn't an option for me. I found after doing a google search that Gentle Gynecology offered hormone replacement pellets for men and women. Dr. Kane educated me on how the release of testosterone would be more constant over time from small pellets that were pushed into your body in the fat layer of your buttocks. This meant no highs and lows and a simple painless procedure once every 4 to five months. I would recommend Dr. Kane to any man or woman who is in the situation I was in. "I would give this place ten stars if I could. Bridget at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful when I called. She was willing to talk me through insurance information and helped me with options though they're out of network. I went in and was greeted warmly and she sat down to chat a little with me. After telling her an issue I was having with my primary practitioner, she even went so far as to look up new potential primaries covered by my insurance with good reviews! I have a little sticky note with their names and numbers that she wrote out for me while I was with the doctor. Then Dr. Kane was super kind as well. I've never had a doctor willing to first of all, let me work through a mild anxiety attack at the beginning of the appointment, but also listen to all my questions and concerns with patience and advice. She didn't make me feel stupid for asking anything and made my concerns feel validated and not like I was being ridiculous and overthinking things. She even asked me if I had a preference for bloodwork labs to go to. I can't rave enough about how amazing this place is and I will probably never go to a different gynecologist again if I can help it."
