"For the Same Day Surgery Center. I called the phone numbers given by my doctors for several days. All I was able to was leave messages and at times not even that. No call backs. What if you need to get in touch with them or a relative is there and you are calling on their behalf. What if there is an emergency? I changed where my surgery will be. THis is totally unacceptable."

"For some reason I thought this was the same as the Venice Hospital that closed. And I was mortified finding out this would be where I’d be having my Stage 2 Melanoma removed but why would a top notch doctor have privileges here if it was bad right? From the first interaction with Venice Health Park, I knew I was going to be in good hands . Pre op testing and registration was seamless and quick . In and out in less than an hour. The registrars were polite and efficient. Melissa, the RN who did my Pre-op testing of blood work and EKG was very friendly and conversational . Day of surgery was no exception. Every staff member was so caring and informative. Val, my main nurse, Denny , the anesthesiologist was so jovial and made light of such a otherwise scary moment for me . We laughed at my field trip down the hall to get better. Lisa, the Nuke tech was so caring despite having to administer some pretty painful medication for my lymph node mapping and the hug after made all the difference . I didn’t come in contact with one person that didn’t say they enjoyed their job and the team they worked with . It made all the difference in the care I recently received . If I missed anyone I am sorry , it’s all overwhelming having a serious surgery but they made it so much easier ."

"The staff is absolutely professional, attentive, thoroughly, and knowledgeable. This my second procedure in 4 years at The Health Park and I am very happy with everything from check in to check out. The facilities are spotless. Thank you to the entire staff that handled my outpatient procedures! You are the best in the field!!"

"Rude front desk covid mask enforcer. Ridiculous the way she acts. Rules are fine. Glaring at visitors their entire stay and talking down to them is not She expects visitors to go by rules but not her. Friendly requests go along way. I have a feeling she treats anyone who is attractive this way. She immediately disliked me and glared at me my whole wait time. Awful and unwelcoming. Beyond an enforcer. Acts like a cop. A bad one."
