"Been going there my whole life, literally whole life. This place is a joke, who knows if it's even open. I can't even get anyone on the phone. Been calling for 3 weeks to fill a simple prescription, but I guess no one answers. Did you close? Maybe let your patients know, you know since you've been my doctor since I was a child. How ridiculous **Also the phone number listed here doesn't work."

"Dr. Scott Murphy is an Amazing person! Dr. Carpenter rarely is in the office and the office staff are always so short and rude! My first appointment there the lady argued with me about my insurance, to which I was correct of course ‘but she has X number of years in billing blah blah blah.’ Rarely greeted with a smile or hello, but rather a ‘Can I Help You?!’ Attitude. Then an insurance appeal form was sent to this office and it took over a month for the office to figure out how to fill it out correctly for the insurance to cover my medically necessary medication. The young lady in the office was incredibly sweet, but you can tell the office atmosphere of bitter Betty’s drags down her mood also. If it wasn’t for the super nice and incredible Dr. Scott, I surely wouldn’t have continued going to this office. There surely isn’t a shortage of Doctors in the area."

"While I have greatly enjoyed my long term relationship with Village Family Practice, it is time to move on. I needed two long-term prescription refilled. Instead of just calling them in to the pharmacy, I was told I needed a money grubbing appointment. Not willing to put up with that kind of treatment."

"I don't usually write reviews, but, after reading the one and only one posted here I felt obliged to. I have been a patient of Dr. Thomas Carpenter for almost 6 years and I have to say that not only is he wonderful, his PA Scott is one of the most caring and diligent practitioners in the area. As for the office staff~ I cannot say enough good things! They take the time to actually get to know patients. I don't think that I have ever visited the office that not one, but ALL of the front office staff members have greeted me and asked how I've been feeling. Although there may be a small wait time, I cannot recall ever visiting a medical facility where there wasn't. I thank God for Dr. Carpenter and all of the staff at Village Family Practice. I think they're all caring and competent individuals!"

"The Doctors at Village are above and beyond, truly amazing! The service, however, is abominable! I have NEVER experienced the utter lack of caring that I have from the front office staff at this business. It is, after all, a business. Therefore, I feel that I should not be ignored for 20 minutes when arriving, or talked down to like some drug seeker because of genuine, diagnosed depression and anxiety issues. I have never been treated like a human being by these front workers, and if it were in my power, they would all be on that long list of the unemployed. I reiterate though, the Doctors seem to actually care. I only hope the office workers learn some compassion, or at least drop the attitude of disdain which exudes from them."
