"This is my 3rd year with my kids playing in the league and i love it for them!! They do a great job organizing the games, the game gear they get to keep and the production of the top 10 plays of the week!"
"Absolutely horrible league from the top to bottom. Favoritism at its finest all the way up to the commissioner. He's very rude and disrespectful and thinks he can speak to anyone how ever he wants and you as a parent don't have a place to speak. He will literally tell you to shut up and he don't want to hear anything out of you. He's act tough as though he's like that in real life but he's only tough over the phone. The female coach for the junior hawks is an absolute joke. They bully the children swearing at them and if you stand up for your kid they take it out on the kid by not letting them play or including them in other team activities and when you go to the higher ups they threaten you with removal from league after you pay $500+ dollars. If that doesn't work they threaten you with police. Don't recommend at all and I'm not the only review like this continue to read them all before you decide to give this league your money just to be forced out."
"Wow, a lot of bad reviews! I came here to see about MCYFL. And hoped it changed since my grandchild played before, but guessing not! These kids deserve to play, learn, and most of all have fun. The sign up amount, selling tickets ect these kids should have what they need also. Hope the league gets their act together! And also start holding some of these coaches accountable for their actions."
"This is the only tackle football league in town where all games are played in Ocala. The league continues to improve the experience for all players. The continued progression within the league and USA Football has provided the framework to teach our children the fundamentals and techniques of the game of football. Parents and players concerned with getting exposure and leaving to travel teams should reconsider. Unless your child is the TOP 300 players in the country they are not getting recruited. What matters more at this age group is fundamentals, technique, and learning to play as a team and MCYFL provides all of that for your child."
"My family has been involved with MCYFL for many years now between my girls on cheer and volunteering. It is a great organization to be a part of and a fun place to go on a Saturday to enjoy a football game!"
