"I can't believe this school allows the torture and killing of animals as a classroom activity! And only a suspension WITH pay! I would never allow my children to attend this school. I hope they are providing counseling to the children who had to be a witness to this horrible act!"

"Teachers at this school drowned racoons in wire cages and got children to participate. I am shocked that role models can encourage lack of empathy and cruelty. Children should be taught good values, kindness and empathy for all life. This school needs to apologize to the state and to the country for encouraging torture and cruelty! SHAME ON YOU!!!!"

"Why haven’t you fired this teacher yet? Kids that torture small animals grow up to be at best insensitive to others, at worst criminals or murderers. The Cruelty 101 class needs to stop instantly! Fire the teacher now or wait until national or perhaps international media results in the forcing out of the principal and school superintendent as well."

"They say that those that torture small animals grow up to kill humans. How can you keep this teacher on your payroll and how can you just suspend them? This was MURDER plain and simple, the parent was correct when they said they were already trapped they just needed to be relocated and animal control could have picked them up and moved them. I am sending this news report to ABC News and hopefully this will gain national attention! You and your staff should be ashamed . I am so disgusted and so glad my children are grown and do not have to watch a live creature be Murdered!"

"This school actively supports the inhumane killing of wild animals that have inhabited the surroundings since before the school was built. Individuals like the one teaching the agriculture class have no part spreading their wisdom to other generations. Do better."
