"Wednesday night was one of the scariest moments of my life. My beautiful Dalila (mare) suffered an (Espophageal obstruction- episode); she “choked.” Dalila is alive and well today, thanks to the prompt response from our stables team at Cavalia Stables @cavaliastables, Elena Armas and Luciano Domé (owners) and our wonderful Vet @alfredolichoa from @epcrehab. I am beyond grateful to my trainer Andrés Quilarque Godoy @andres.quilarque.godoy, for his work ethic and incredible dedication to Dalila, always-specially during those difficult hours in dealing with this equine emergency all night to the next day. (Literally waking up at 3:30 am to continue treatment as advised by the vet). His attention to detail and commitment to horses is notable in every interaction you see him have with the animal. His knowledge, compassion, and willingness to help and guide others prove his work. I have known Cavalia @cavaliastables for a few years, and it is a place where horses come first. Their professionalism and love for the sport and, more importantly, the animal show at every turn."
