"Ohhhh my ANIMAL HEAVENNNN!!!! I AM OVER THE MOON and can't stop smiling! Driving by to Rainbow Springs, I had to do a double take, "did that sign say PETTING ZOO?!" The fact it is a local small business made me feel SOO GOOD to support! It's small in size but not in smiles! MAKE THE TRIP!!! Solo like me, or with the whole family! The cherry on top was the DELICIOUS & AUTHENTIC food truck out front! Bring cash for the day! Always support local!"
"We had a great time at this petting zoo, most of the animals appear to be well taken care of despite what other reviewers say; they're just farm animals. We drove from Gainesville and would come again. The only upsetting thing to see were the exotic animals. We wish they had enrichments in their area that are native to their homes. The coati mundis were pacing in the enclosure & the camel looked bored. Hopefully one day this place can create better enclosures for the exotic species. However, we had a great time and don't doubt the safety and well being of these animals, they are taken care of."
"It's a small family run farm, Cows, Goats, Sheep, Emus, Camel, Racoons, Chickens, ducks, Small monkeys, Various other animals, Many of these animals couldn't survive in the wild and this is the last refuge, fun for small kids 10 and under."
"It's a little pricey for a petting zoo for a family of 5, but it's worth it to walk around and see the animals! Not a ton of shade, so plan accordingly when visiting! Fun little petting zoo! The kids loved the different types of animals and how friendly the animals were acting!"
"Nice little roadside petting (and feeding) zoo. More like the farm you remember as a child up north. Most animals are rescues and given a good home. Yes there is poo and there are flies. Welcome to nature. It's an extraordinary opportunity to get up close and feed and interact with live animals. Affordable. Fun. Wonderful! Friendly employees."
