"My nephew came here for a hypospadias repair. We live in the Florida keys without access, so we’re referred here. Each visit is an all a day affair with the drive, which you can imagine with a 1 year old. We had our follow up appointment schedule. The office has communicated with my sister 5 times over the last two days about this post-surgery check up to make sure he healed up correctly. We arrive, to which are told we wasted our time and he cannot be seen since his previous referral expired. Now I am unsure as to why In the last 48 hours not one of the five conversations, verifications or check ins was able to point this out. Or why for a follow up made by their office he was being refused. We now have to find another doctor and spend another entire day traveling to make sure his surgery and recovery went well. Since he is 1, he cannot speak for himself for us to know. I am leaving the review because my sister is too upset to express her concerns as she is worried about her son!! Prior to the surgery this place was a bit unorganized and off putting, had their been other options or more time the surgery would have been done elsewhere. Now who knows what really went on - why was making sure a 1 year old you just operated on was okay rather than the date of a referral for the surgery itself. This was a follow up from this office. Is everything ok or are you hiding from your mistakes? Worried of malpractice!!"
