"This doctor was recommended by our Son's Cardiologist from Nicklause Children's , due to the convenience of being in the same building. I want to clarify that this review does not reflect at all on the doctor itself since I never had a chance to meet Doctor Rosa Monte. When I first called the office to make the appointment the front desk receptionist Magaly Rivas was extremely rude. When I asked for the appointment, she refused to scheduled it unless I filled a form sent to my email PDF. I explained to her that I have a newborn and no printer, that I can fill out that form once we get there or she can asked me over the phone. She became very hostile saying things like " I cannot stop working for you" "No appointment with out form", all these in a very broken english and screaming at me" At which point I had my husband call again, hoping he will get someone nicer, he didn't. She sent the form to my husband's email, I filled it out on my phone, which was very uncomfortable. She responded rudely asking for medical records, we send them the records (which I had on my email), and then this was her responses: "PLEASE SEND ME AGAIN WE DON'T RECEIVE" "I'm sorry you not understand but that is the rule we needed record for former pediatrician and you has tu sign that form" My husband called her after that, she started screaming at him and he gave up at this point and told her we were not going with this physician and it was thanks to her. In all my years making medical appointment, I was never refused with out physically filling out a form prior. I have always been able to make an appointment and then fill out things electronically or at the doctors office. Gladly we found another pediatrician for our son and booked the appointment on that same call. This was also with Nicklaus Children's Hospital. I hope my review helps the doctor pick a better staff that will not drive patients away."

"It is very sad when you find an amazing Doctor but the office staff lets them down. Dr.Monte-Fernandez is an incredible doctor and we were so happy to find a doctor willing to take the time to answer questions and review all reports and just overall enjoy their patients. I sadly can not say the same about her office staff especially her office manager Natalie. This staff was incredibly rude and they do not care about the kids, they will judge you, they also do not have their stuff together and are constantlybeing told different things. Do not try to ask for help they will refuse and flat out lie to get themselves out of trouble. I am very heartbroken that I found a doctor I can see myself trusting but the staff is letting her down."
