"Wendy was appointed after my demand for psych evals in a high conflict divorce. I have no mental health, criminal or civil record and 30 years employment. After extensive testing, my results were consistent- no disorders and blood tests showed alcohol intake less than 1/3 of the national standard for excessive drinking. The ex-wife is unemployed and had been on disability for mental health disorders for 25 years. Her test results showed notable characteristics of 10 more disorders and detailed 5 previously diagnosed disorders. Yet my evaluation was 2 pages longer than the ex-wife's with Wendy opining I MAY have Narcissistic PD, Munchausen syndrome, may molest my daughter and was an alcoholic who drank excessively, requiring extensive therapy. The ex-wife's evaluation stated she only needed to continue therapy and get back on psych meds, which she had refused for the last 10 years. Her evaluation completely derailed my custody battle- my daughter, the prime victim. Biased?! You be the judge..."

"I had high hopes when I first met Dr. Coughlin. Turned out though that she didn't really listen, she didn't do the job she was hired for and she actually endangered the child in question more than they were. Now that child is in a facility, not doing school work, and out of control. The person we had been trying to protect her from was who Coughlin chose to believe and give control too. The child was allowed to vape, cut herself up and have unsupervised access to social media with that person. Dr. Coughlin demanded we not use a metal detector to check for blades being snuck into the house from school yet all of Hillsborough county does random checks at middle and high public schools in which students are checked with a metal detector and bags searched so they can keep all the children safe. Dr. Coughlin was not only a disappointment but a fail that resulted in a child being allowed to destroy herself while the mother allowed it so they could continue on with "being victims". Dr. Coughlin is to old and needs to retire because the children of today that are influenced so much by social media are beyond Dr. Coughlin's scope of understanding. She needs to retire. Do not hire her."

"Do not trust this woman under any circumstances!!! I was desperately trying to get help and build a legal case to protect my daughter from my narcissistic Xwife, who was manipulating and alienating her from me. I learned about Narcissism and Parental Alienation then went to see Dr Coughlin, who seemed very concerned, especially after meeting my daughter. But once my Xwife got involved everything fell apart almost instantly, even though I warned Dr Coughlin about her tactics! She lied continuously, made false accusations, gaslit, etc etc. And my attempts to pull the narrative back to reality were met with Dr Coughlin not only allowing it but shutting me down - “let her finish”, “you seem So angry”, “she can have an opinion.” The X and I saw Dr Coughlin weekly for months, and despite (supposedly) knowing about narcissism, and hearing my rebukes, and even proving that she was lying, I was labeled the angry loose cannon while the narcissist just put on an act and lied, right out of the textbook and Dr Coughlin drank the koolaid. I even gave her articles, videos, etc about PA. And in the end, she just believed the lies of a covert narcissist instead of doing her job, even though I spelled it out for her and even though it only took the first session with my daughter for her to say something was “very wrong.” There is no excuse for that level of incompetence, and therefore malpractice. My daughter no longer speaks to me, no matter how hard I try to reach her, and my X-wife is so entitled and bloated from years of little victories like the one Dr Coughlin gave her that I don’t even try to fight anymore. Now I am Losing my son the same way… And by the way, I am a professional, otherwise very fortunate in life, I am present and engaged with my children, I don’t drink, smoke, use drugs, curse or yell, and I’ve provided freely and openly without conditions. I blame W Coughlin for all the pain, emotional abuse, and poison, and for whatever happens next. She did not recognize what was obvious and/or did not have the professionalism to do what’s best for my child. Bottom line, if a cardiologist missed a heart attack and killed someone there would be consequences, and this is the same thing. Wendy Coughlin killed my daughter’s chances to break free from a poisonous narcissistic mother, and my worst fears are now my reality because of her."

"Dr. Coughlin has been operating as Parent Coordinator for my ex-wife and I for several months now. She certainly does not always agree with me (or my ex), but she is brave enough to speak truth, has excellent judgement, and always has our children's best interest at heart.
