"I have no idea how I originally selected this office for my care given the one star reviews that are 10000% accurate. I did my research on other sites but now am posting in hopes that other women understand what this office is about. I came here after another experience with an OB whose treatment for a past issue did not make sense to me. I saw Dr. Joseph Triana and his no nonsense explanation validated my concerns about the past OB and I started trusting their medical opinion. When I got pregnant I chose to continue my care here. Thank goodness I realized I needed to switch and luckily at about 30 weeks I was accepted as a patient of Dr. Duarte (different office, go there instead 10/10) how did I get there? 1) this office does not care about you. The visits are brusque and short and the no nonsense attitude I appreciated, I stopped liking when it was like every question was treated with the verbal equivalent of an eye roll. my husband, who came to several appointments started feeling the same- like any question or concern was not valid. 2) this office does not call you back or call you at all really. I couldn’t get a nurse on the phone at all to check in on my nausea meds in the first trimester. It took them over 6 weeks to send in a prescription- calling them and reminding the Dr at the appointments. That’s most of the time when i would have benefited from this medication. 3) biggest red flag- later in the pregnancy I expressed my desire to have a non medicated birth with limited to no intervention. This is when I realized I needed to get out. The doctors here do not care about what the mother wants at all. During this conversation, Dr Albert Triana tried to pressure me into deciding to take an epidural and told me flat out that he would not ask my permission to conduct an episiotomy, and that it is their practice to start inducing or scheduling c sections at 38 weeks. I was floored when I heard all of this- I think I left the office completely disturbed by this experience. THANK GOD he was honest because I took steps immediately to get out. My heart goes out to the women who stay and get treated like this. There are better doctors out there! And for the record, I was accepted as a third trimester patient by Miami Women’s Health (same building by Mercy) and delivered my son completely natural and unmedicated without an epidural, and it was the best experience ever. If the Triana doctors read this I hope they know that natural birth is a beautiful experience for the woman who wants it and their bullying is not compassion. Not receiving permission from a patient for a surgery like an episiotomy is violence. I will say that the only doctor who had compassion here at any level was Dr. youseff mouhayar- I hope he eventually leaves this practice and works with better people."

"Terrible and inhumane treatment from Dr. Joseph Triana. The Director at Mercy Maternity Unit at the time reported my incident with him to the Board of Obstetrics because I ended up having to check myself into the Maternity Unit after suffering a hypertensive crisis from being in his “care”. I was 38 weeks pregnant and he was threatening to throw me out of his care if I didn’t let him induce me early (for no medical reason nor emergency whatsoever). Then he told me, hollering at me that if I didn’t let him induce me early, he would throw me out, and I would end up giving birth at the ER in Jackson Memorial Hospital next to a crackhead because no other doctor would take me in at 38 weeks. There was no medical necessity to induce me at 38 weeks and I ended up going into labor naturally at 40 weeks and had a natural vaginal delivery thankfully with a different doctor. I regret not following through with my case against Dr. Joseph Triana. I wanted absolutely nothing more to do with him."

"I wrote this review previously but since I didn’t want to be “that patient” I let it go, however, after what happened today I decided to make it public. This is not an ob/gyn clinic, or a doctors’ office. This is a corporation that happen to offer healthcare appointments for women. This is a business ONLY, CARELESS, and with absolutely ZERO empathy and ZERO customer service skills. Just to give you and idea: you are better off calling FPL and AT&T to have a better customer service experience than this practice. Just to give you and IDEA of how it works. If you want a team of doctors or nurses that take CARE about you, listen to your concerns and address your questions, DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE. Appointments are literally 5 seconds, the doctors barely get to know you or your past (could be detrimental for a pregnancy). What you see on the celebrities social media is only applied for those who are in that category (or for the international patients paying out of pocket to have their babies in the US)If you are a "normal" person with a normal healthcare plan, you are just a number. The front desk lady even confirmed to me that they are not the ones who receive the “celebrities” patients or get their calls. While thank God I was only seen by them on my last pregnancy and I was more "relaxed", would absolutely hate to see a new mom going through their especial moment with a team of doctors and nurses that are careless. While they were professionals on the day gave birth and my baby came out healthy, I felt that they treated that moment in a very cold way, with zero empathy. By the way - hey doctors, you might perform 30 births per day and cutting a belly through 7 layers might be your day-to-day, but the person who is about to GIVE BIRTH and that is with their belly open on YOUR HANDS is EXTREMELY SCARED. So certain level of empathy would be highly appreciated. So if you as a patient care about those soft skills...this is not the place for you. And if someone from “corporation” wants to know what caused me to write this today, you can hear the calls that are probably recorded (especially the one today at 9:42am ET) and you will be able to hear my frustration, tears and how your careless team handled it. And of course, this is just ONE of my bad experiences with you guys. I just decided that I’ve had enough now."

"if i could give them 0 stars i would. i went to this clinic twice to visit dr Youssef, and both times i was disappointed. the staff is nice, but the doctor didn't really seem to care about how i was feeling or what was happening with me. he kept repeating the same thing over and over. it was very rushed. moreover, i waited 3 weeks for an ultrasound and they cancelled my appointment twice saying that the ultrasound tech was leaving early??? that's not my problem? what's the point of making an appointment then. they also ran a few tests the last time i went and i never got a call back from them telling me the results, i had to go to my oscar app to see if they were there. i don't recommend this place at all, they don't care"

"Usually not the office that I go to but the Doral location didn't have any availability, so I had no choice to come here. I really do not like going to the hospital because parking and the such but this actually wasn't bad. I got a little lost once I got there but I got the front desk and the young lady guided me to the professional building. Once I got in, I checked and waited for no more than about 10 minutes if that. The ultrasound tech was super fun and funny. She talked me through everything and we shared a few laughs. Everything was fine so that made me happy as well."
