Urgent Care Fort Lauderdale: Dr. G's Urgent Care

"A very caring and compassionate nurse from a different urgent care facility recommended Dr. G’s after I was refused service by the provider. I understand why! I will never use another facility for my urgent care needs after my visit at Dr. G’s. The front desk, medical technician, doctor, and on-site pharmacist were unbelievably lovely and accommodating. I was in and out within 45 minutes after waiting 3 hours in the other facility. I wish I had known about Dr. G’s a long time ago. Would have saved me a lot of headaches. I will recommend them to everyone I know, especially my fellow service members who sometimes require “special” forms to be filled out. Thank you to everyone at Dr. G’s in Fort Lauderdale!"

"My initial feelings on a scheduled appointment with Dr. g was one of trepidation and hopefulness to alleviate extreme pain in my right foot and ankle. Upon contact with Dr. G it became evident that I had no reason to be concerned about the professional service to be received. He immediately made me feel comfortable and aware of his expertise and experience in dealing with my problems. I could expound on all of this extensively but simply stated " EXTREMELY PLEASED AND WOULD RECOMMEND DR. G HIGHLY " ."

"I was visiting Pompano Beach and developed a severe migraine. Went to Dr G’s urgent care. The staff at the front desk was so kind. She could see I was in extreme pain. The Physician Assistant was absolutely knowledgeable and wonderful. The medical assistant was also kind and compassionate. The gentleman who took my blood and administered my IV was also great. I can’t say enough about the staff that took care of me on 2/15. I would highly recommend this Urgent care."

"We brought my son here when he sustained an injury to his finger. The check-in process was lengthy as the receptionist wasn’t entering insurance details correctly. Once that was finally complete, he was seen promptly. The office was clean and updated. All the staff were very nice! He was seen by Sam, a PA. He ordered X-rays (on site) for his finger. He determined that there was no fracture, however could not tell us what was going on and determine it was badly bruised and swollen and would straighten back out over time. He recommended icing and take Motrin . We got a second opinion 2days later. Turns out he has a very serious injury that requires a splint for several months, as well as physical therapy. When I called several days later for images of X-ray, I spoke with another PA, named Mauricio who got somewhat confrontational about his diagnosis. I really wanted to like this office. Sadly there is no way I will be back. Sam should have referred us to the hospital or orthopedic urgent care. Upon check-out the receptionist thanked us and told us she would follow-up the next day to see how my son was doing. This never happened and records have still not been sent to our pediatricians office as promised. ***Update: Dr G’s replied here to my review. I called them to discuss as they asked. After waiting on hold for a long period of time I was told someone would call me back. 2 days later and no one has called. My doctor’s office has still not received X-rays or visit notes. ****update 2: January 2023: No one ever called me back"

"This location was never on my radar because the clinic I intended to visit (after filling out online forms to speed up check-in) referred me to it. This location is much smaller than a typical walk-in clinic and has a small pharmacy alongside. There were a handful of people waiting when I arrived. Checking in wasn't difficult and waiting to be seen was done in a reasonable length of time. In fact, the receptionist apologized for things taking longer than usual. She was pleasant and she kept everyone in the waiting room informed of where they were in the queue. My interaction with the medical professionals was friendly and to the point. They listened carefully and understood my condition. I had a script written up quickly and I went on my way. The next day, I got a call from them inquiring about my experience and wanting to know how I was. This was completely unexpected but very much appreciated. It made me feel that they genuinely cared about me even if it was a routine follow-up."
