"Everyone must make their own decisions regarding risk. That being said, to follow is a short assessment of my experience with Pluvicto. I have been thru hormonal and chemo and was experiencing an escalating PSA and annoying backpain. I was forced to reduce my activity level to one day of tennis, one day of light mileage on the cycle and short swimming yardage: all with the help of painkillers before and after each activity. The PSA was doubling every ninety days, and I was sure I was nearing the tip of the bell curve when I signed onto Pluvicto with Florida Theranostics. Administering the treatment takes less than ten painless minutes. My experience has been minimal side effects limited to 48 hours of very mild nausea and handled effectively with medication. I am also a bit lethargic for 72 hours. The one exception regarding side effects was the first night following the first treatment where I had lower back pain as the medicine was attacking the cancer cells. This too was handled effectively with a single dose of medication. That incident has not reoccurred. Some facts that may be of value: The PSA has dropped to just over 1 after three treatments. I am fully exercising to the extent I want without restrictive pain and no need for pain medication. I have been doing so since the third week following the first treatment. In closing I would encourage anyone to explore the possibility of Pluvicto. I have found Dr. Krish and the staff to be honest and responsive without limitation. And while this review is not directed to the staff and facility, I fully agree with all that has been previously said in this regard. You may decide otherwise as to the Pluvicto treatment but, in my opinion, you will be doing a disservice to yourself and those important to you if you fail to explore this option."
