"Dr Graham was very understanding of my situation, the facility itself is very clean and comfortable all things considered. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Brian the RN. The food is better than it has any right to be. I'd recommend this place to anyone who needs the help they offer."

"Many issues within this facility that need to be addressed. First of all, there's absolutely no sanitation protocol as there are only two hand sanitizers in the entire area of the palms unit. Also, when I arrived there I asked for a health and beauty bin so I could have soap and minimal toiletries and I was told they ran out of soap. So for 3 days I was not able to wash because there was no soap. The physicians there are less than to be desired as they do not care when taking information. They just simply write things down and do not follow up. Example, the first position I spoke to I told they needed to speak with my husband and he agreed so they could verify that this particular situation of mine was misunderstanding. He never gave me a form to sign for him to speak to my husband. I spoke to a second physician, told her I wanted her to speak to my husband. No form was given so she didn't speak to them either. Both doctors are just going through the process and do not show any care or interest in processing the patients. Many more patient right violations occurred which I can continue if requested"

"Dr Theo goes against medical regulations and the DSM-V. Dr Theo screams at parents and threatens them regularly. He knows the child is in psychosis but he doesn't care. He tells parents "you can just stay up all night and monitor the kid 24/7". Marylin does not communicate. She rude and nasty and unprofessional. She is incapable of answering questions. She refuses to provide records. No staff member returns calls in a timely manner. They don't provide information no matter how many times you call asking for updates. The facility does nothing for discharge. They are required to have a psychiatric and counseling appointment established within 7 days of release. Coral Shores did not follow this rule and dumped a minor without any appointments arranged. I am looking forward to reporting the facility for unethical and dangerous behavior to the State. Dr Theo is sending a child in active psychosis, that is dangerous to the general public, home today. Coral Shores and Dr Theo are fully responsible financially, physically, mentally, and legally for all problems that arise form releasing a minor in active psychosis. Kelly has a 12 year old call me to give me the discharge instructions. She had a minor give instructions rather than her doing it. Absolutely unethical and she should be fired. When I told her that was unacceptable she screamed at me and hung up the phone. Night time receptionist is unprofessional and nasty. She refuses info causes problems, treats people like garbage. During discharge the minor vocally in front of staff started saying he was going to kill himself and runaway. That voices were telling him to kill himself. Dr Theo denied care at that moment and told us to go away and that he was refusing care....even after a child said he's going to kill himself."

"If you care at all about your family member DO NOT let them go to this place! They are rude, hardly ever answer the phone, make up lies, and won’t tell you anything about your loved one. Despite emailing them several times an order singed by the judge stating that my husband and I had the right to receive information on my son they refused to give me any. They said they would not release him until a caseworker called me to go over aftercare plans of a ride and where my son would go they cut him loose and called him a Lyft without telling me. This place is a joke and they did NOTHING to help my son! Beware!!!"

"I was here involuntarily in the adolescent unit. I must say I had a really good experience. The food was good. I constantly felt very safe. The staff is super friendly too. They all seem to enjoy what they do and are very encouraging. It’s somewhat strict but it really helps keep everyone and everything in order. As long as you are respectful, everything is very nice. If you need somewhere to go I highly recommend this place above any other. It really helped me out for what it’s worth. This is by far one of the best behavioral health centers for adolescents."
