Bela Vida Urogynecology

"I have had two appts, my first was in OVIEDO (Nov 23). I was instructed to arrive 20 min before my appt which I did. I sat in the office ALONE for 30 minutes with the custodian cleaning until a nurse arrived to check me in. The receptionist arrived 10 minutes after the office was scheduled to opened. The office is very sterile and unwelcoming. Considering the purpose of the facility it was kind of creepy. My second appt was required to be in OCOEE (Jan 24). After receiving two phone calls over the weekend confirming my Monday appt, after driving 40 min to the appt and paying tolls, upon arrive I was told my appt was CANCELED. WHAT?!?! I was told "the providoer was unable to make it in." I had a busy morning, grabbed my phone and ran out the door to my appt never even thought to check my msg. Back in my car there was a VM but it indicated the machine was not working and to call to reschedule. Either way, they are LYING about why teh appt was cancelled. The office NEVER did a follow-up call. Never sent a text. Never sent an email. One call to cancel that's it! UNACCEPTABLE. UNPROFESSIONAL. If I had canceled Bela Vida would have charged me a $50 cancellation fee. Why is my time less important than theirs? I took the day off from work to keep this appt. This is not the treatment I expect to receive from a professional business. I do NOT recommend either of their offices, any of their providers and will not be a future patient! Be AWARE!! They are liars, unreliable and unprofessional! Bela Vida deserves a negative rating. Unfortunately, that was not an option."

"I recently went to Bela Vida Urogynecology in Oviedo for help with interstitial cystitis. I had gone to my primary care doctor, my gyn and a urologist among others, but no one could help me until I met with Lucy Burgos, MSN, BSN, ARNP-C, RDMS and a board certified nurse practitioner. She understood the pain that I was feeling and she gave me the help that I needed. I can't believe that I have been dealing with this pain for 3 years until now. She printed me out a food list with foods to eat and to avoid. She also recommended supplements that would help. One week later the pain subsided. I have continued to follow her advice daily and it is now under control without the excruciating pain. Thank you so much, Lucy!"

"After having been a patient for almost two years and now encountering kidney pain and a bad UTI infection since 12/25/2022. After the offices having been closed from 12/26/2022 -1/3/2023. I called (7 times) to get an appointment at the earliest time I was told the earliest appointment was in February. I said I am in pain I need to be seen sooner. Her reply was "We are not an urgent care doctor." That is the earliest. I just hung up. This office needs to stay close if they cannot help their patients. Oh well good luck to all!!!"
