"The support staff, for the most part is excellent. Extremely knowledgeable, and courteous. Some of the doctors could take more time with patients, but thank goodness there are PAs who will do so and will often do it better. Dr. Michael Werner is an exception to my comment about physician patient care at OAWF. He is kind, concerned, and will do whatever possible to help you with your concerns. I have never met a better podiatrist or surgeon. I saw Dr. Cottrell today for a knee issue. He was pleasant and knowledgeable, but unfortunately in a huge hurry to move onto the next patient. When his PA Brooke came to the room to give me a Cortizone injection, I instantly felt more comfortable with her. She seemed genuinely interested in helping me and answering my questions. I made my next appointment with her. I don’t need handholding, but having a reasonable amount of time with my physician, especially on my first visit would be appreciated and is important. Even if it’s only a few extra minutes."

"Dr. Cottrell, Brooke, and Barb have been very helpful and kind. Great experience with all of them until very recently. I have left messages for 2+ weeks asking for a return call regarding my knee injections that were ordered. I finally received a call back today from Alicia who gave me a completely different experience than everyone I have encountered there in the past. She began the phone call by telling me how long she just spent on the phone with the pharmacy/insurance and that is “not her job”. When I asked if she received my messages for the last 2 weeks, she again told me it wasn’t her job to call me back and that she forwarded every one to the “authorization girl”. Understanding this “isn’t her job”, I tried to offer up info about the last time I had trouble with this and she cut me off multiple times to tell me she already knew what I was saying. Although the rest of the team is wonderful to talk with, I have already booked with a new practice as I do not want any further encounters with Alicia."

"Nice experience. Dr Scott listens very carefully. He is a pro in hand and wrist issues. Receptionists were very polite. Had to wait for 35 min outside and 30 min inside the room. Otherwise it is a 5 star facility if they can reduce the wait time."
