Over the years, he has helped me rework long standing relationships with anxiety, depression, stress and addiction, using acupuncture, herbs, functional medicine, all deeply rooted in eastern philosophy. "Long story short, 2 years ago I had c5-6 disk replacement. Fixed some but not all issues. Neck pain had progressed to a CONSTANT 8 out of 10 since surgery. I've tried meds, physical therapy, stretching, etc. Constant pain makes you do things, so I thought I'd try accupuncture and I'm glad I did. Dr. Clarke knows what he's doing. After about 4 treatments I felt a huge shift in pain. No longer constant, just flare ups. I'm also very tight in the neck, shoulder area and have felt a loosening there as well. "I experienced extreme pain in my right shoulder blade area and then pain and numbness down my right arm into my hand for the last four months and nothing I did or tried, such as stretching or medication or topical ointment, relieved the pain. I am a veteran who was referred by the VA to Dr. Clarke for acupuncture treatments. At the initial consultation, Dr. Clarke and Lora (office) listened to my concerns, were very caring, knowledgable and professional. The office is very clean and well-organized. After 10 treatments, I have seen positive results, most notably pain relief in my shoulder and better sleep, most likely due to less pain. Interesting to me, was the extreme sense of relaxation during and immediately after each treatment! The numbness down my arm has lessened significantly, but is still present in lesser intensity.
