"I went to BayCare due to having a large amount of blood in my urine and extreme pain. The week prior I had Influenza B and have not been feeling well for 3 weeks. The PA Christopher was rude, condescending, dismissive and made assumptions that the issue was me being diabetic and my sugars being high. Anyone that knows anything about Type 1 knows that being ill and sedentary will elevate blood sugars, especially in someone who is typically active. He concluded I have Acute Kidney Injury and I needed to contact my Endocrinologist. My wife and I left without any medication for the fever or pain and was told the results from my test would be back in 4 days. After we left and read about AKI my wife and I were extremely upset and panicked. I went to St Joseph South hospital and got tested. They found my white blood cells were very high and found I had a UTI. This experience will definitely make me get a second opinion. Very disappointing, especially giving an opinionated diagnosis that is very serious."

"We went into the clinic because our son had been sick with a fever for a few days. we understand they have to run tests and find out what his sickness was before treating. All the test came back negative for flu, strep, Covid. So they wanted to run an x-ray on his chest to make sure it wasn’t pneumonia. It too came back negative but they still did not decide what it was. I explained I’m no doctor, but maybe bronchitis? What did they prescribe? Nothing! They told us to go to the hospital to have a CT scan, bloodwork, etc.. now I don’t know if this is what they are teaching nurse practitioners to make more money for the “group” but it was a long wasteful time. When we got home we actually called and asked if we could receive any kind of medicine because our son had already been exhausted and hungry from sitting there. They told us no. we decided to get a second opinion at another clinic. We went in, spent about 30 minutes the doctor came in evaluated him, explain that our son had bronchitis prescribed him medicine and he is doing better."
