"My mother is a 78 year old patient with lymphedema which causes mobility issues. We have two issues. The first issue is this office takes it amongst themselves without contacting the patient to change appointments and times then penalize the patient for missed appointments. The original appointment scheduled for February 12 at 2:20 was supposed to be a visit for a follow up of bloodwork in which Dr. Davina‘s office did not send over to quest diagnostics. The appointment was then switched to a visit for the mobility chair, however, In June 2023 my mother went into the office for a visit due to her mobility chair becoming non-operational. At that time she was given a referral with the hopes of receiving a new chair. Unfortunately it is now February 2024 and she still has yet to receive the new power chair. The company referred by Dr. Davina‘s office is nu motion which have informed my mother that the doctors office did not send over the clinical notes in order to process the chair. Therefore, my mother contacted the office at 9 AM and expressed her concerns at that time. She was informed that she would receive a call back. And in hopes of some resolve, Matt, the office manager contacts my mother, and she began to expressed her concerns at that time. Matt accuses her of twisting his words and the other individual words that she has spoken to prior to speaking to him, (Wow… this is implying that the patient is a liar) he then begins to yell, and she expressed to him that she is old enough to be his mother to not speak to her in that manner he continues to yell, and become very sarcastic, because she expressed that she needed clarity about the mobility chair and the care that she is receiving. I hope that you take into consideration the level of care that you will receive before going into this facility and how you would be treated. Matt the office manager is very disrespectful and unprofessional. He does not know how to properly communicate to bring resolve to an issue. Instead, he escalates them by speaking to patients in a manner that is degrading he tried to make my mother feel as though she did not know what she was talking about. The way my mother was treated is unacceptable and no human being should be treated in that manner. Beware under the leadership of Matt I see why the office staff is so dysfunctional.and I will make sure Dr. Davina knows what is taking place."

"Adult Medicine of Lake County has the worst bedside manner I have ever seen. The Staff is very rude, and Michelle likes to bark orders at her Patients. She is very demanding , rude, disrespectful, treats you like you are beneath her. I do not recommend this place to any of your Loved Ones due to they will not be treated as someone’s loved one. I don’t feel they even deserve the one star I gave them. Its funny, the appointment we had today wasn’t even for me. It was for my Aunt who I care for now since my Mom passed away 2 1/2 years ago. It takes some time to get her up and ready to do a doctor appointment and no one their had any concerns or cares about who you are or what sacrifices you make to get there. We both were treated with disrespect and as we were leaving (I was pushing her out in the wheel chair) no one helped open any doors for us) but the entire staff as we passed them by on our way out giggled as they said one at a time have a good day. I felt like we were in High School being made fun of because I had said something to Michelle for being disrespectful to My Aunt. Not one person stepped up on our behalf to put an end to staffs behavior. Very disappointed , is this the future to your Patients Doctor Visits? How many other Patients have been treated in this behavior at your Facility? You don’t know the struggles they dealing with. Its very Sad that I feel so strong about this that I felt to need to write this review."

"I had an appointment to get re-established today. I had to wait several weeks to get an appointment, but I was okay with that because Dr. Davina has taken great care of me in the past. Today I saw Michelle Bandurka. ARNP. I have never felt so disrespected and unheard. For personal reasons I have not been able to receive the medical care I have needed over the past year. I informed Michelle of all my medical conditions and explained I would need referrals to Specialists. When I mentioned pain management for my bone disease, she immediately “accused me of chasing opioids.” Three separate times during our encounter she mentioned “chasing opioids”. I am 64 years old and disabled due to my bone disease. I voiced my concerns with the front desk and with Matt, the office manager. Matt wanted to know what I would like him to do. Seriously, he shouldn’t have to ask that, after all he is the manager. I informed him I would have a conversation with Dr. Davina but he told me not to waste my appointment time with that. I am very disappointed that I was treated so unprofessionally today."

"Echoing other's experiences here - I see a different provider each time and am promised something different each time, including management. No one returns calls, and when they do I am told something new. Big emphasis on funneling patients to Medspa even for non-cosmetic health issues. I counted on these people to help me with my health and have been let down again and again."

"Have always loved the walkin clinic for your patients until today. PLEASE update your website to reflect actual hours for your Saturday clinic. You stop seeing patients at 11:45, not noon as your window states, not 2 as your website states. I got there at 11:50. There were three cars in the parking lot including mine. I was told I would not be seen. 10/14/23. Went to AdventHealth."
