"Downgrading my rating to one star. I had an appointment with my provider today. I confirmed that it was on the main schedule. It was a virtual session, I waited 10 minutes, call the main office only to be told they were not sure what happened. I worked up quite a lot of courage to call that day and go to the appointment. This was very unprofessional I received no apology, or follow up from the provider to explain. What if I was at risk that day? Surely this is not the quality of care or standard of care that the owners would accept."

"I have been a patient of Kinsler for the past three years, and I recommend them to everybody who needs counseling/psychiatric services. I receive psychiatric and counseling services here. Genuinely, LaTisha Blanchard is a huge reason I am still alive today, and I cannot be more appreciative of Kinsler Psychology. Most people cannot tell that I have a mood disorder unless I tell them, and I can live my life without any obstructions or handicaps due to the excellent care I have received from Kinsler Psychology. Kinsler has been incredibly responsive from my first call to today. While it is true that they do have some waits for new patients/getting into routine scheduling (as do all mental health providers in our area), they have always been flexible and willing to work with my schedule. In situations where my mental health was emergent, they always were able to get me in sooner rather than later, which I so greatly appreciate. The front office team is also outstanding. Sometimes, the phones are busy, and it can be challenging to get through right away (which is, again, very typical for providers in this area). However, I have always received a call back the same day. I also often prefer email, and they always respond to me within the same business day. The front office team is kind, patient, and understanding. I'd like to especially thank Phoenix, who was truly so kind and compassionate when I had a significant mental health crisis earlier this year. She was so patient with me as I tried to get through the conversation, and I was able to get help ASAP due to her patience and diligence. The counseling staff is excellent. Counseling is deeply personal, and providers are not one-size-fits-all. Historically, at previous practices, I have had to go through multiple therapists to find one who was a good fit. However, at Kinsler, they were able to immediately match me with somebody who was a good fit for bipolar patients. I was able to work with a counselor who helped me through crises, worked through trauma with me, and helped me establish tools and coping strategies that I still utilize to this day. As a psychiatry patient, I feel respected, heard, and valued. LaTisha Blanchard is an incredible medical provider, and I cannot recommend her enough to anybody. It is difficult to go to somebody and tell them you need help, but LaTisha has never once made me feel judged or belittled. She takes all of my symptoms and concerns seriously. If I have a problem, she will always talk it out with me. If I have a question, she always explains why she is making her recommendations until I feel comfortable with the treatment plan. I also greatly value that her approach combines medication and lifestyle. There have been times when the recommendations I have needed have not been a medication increase or adjustment but instead to make lifestyle changes that work within my life and current medication regimen. I cannot fully express how much LaTisha has improved my life, and I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you very much to all of the Kinsler staff! I appreciate all you do!"

"My child was a former patient, and the therapist was wonderful however, the administration is terrible and extremely disorganized. It makes it extremely challenging for patients."

"The waiting room is tiny and stressful, poorly furnished. Feels like a waiting room that was thrown together with old furniture found outside the office building. I told my counselor Susan that I wanted to keep the meeting in person, which she said was fine. So I made my next appointment and I arrive, pay my copay and after 15 minutes of waiting I'm told she doesn't offer in person sessions on the date I'm there. TERRIBLE. I was told I'd get my copay back and I NEVER did. I will never return here."

"While everyone is very nice, we had a very frustrating experience. I was trying to get help for my struggling pre-teen and, even though I clearly stated that we needed in-person (due to my son having hearing loss), after we had our initial consultation with our provider, we were told that in-person would only be available about every month (or more) unless we could come during the school day or do telehealth. We even tried telehealth but (of course) my son was not able to understand anything being said. We tried very hard to get my son scheduled but were only able to get in 3 appointments in 3 months, which does not help establish relationship needed to really counsel someone. Then, after all that, we got notice our provider left unexpectedly. We would not recommend this establishment."
