"I ordered an amazing mushroom burger, very tasty, well balanced in flavors! Love it ! Incredible! A young gentlemen called Joao was the one serving me that day, was very attentive, helpful and polite! For sure I’m coming back!"

"Aylin was very helpful and smiling each time she came around. My “perfect sandwich” wasn’t, my egg was over cooked when it was supposed to be over easy, the toast for the omelette was a bit dark and hard. The lattes were pretty but not as tasty because they were lukewarm. The white decor was very nice and relaxing, bathroom nice and clean. I’m still not comfortable with non-service dogs inside restaurants especially when they start a barking war."

"Extremely disappointed that they charged me a service fee of 18-20% even after explicitly mentioning that I did not want to. I arrived to Pura Vida to get an acai bowl (just me). After ordering at the “bar” I noticed that on top of a service charge fee of 18-20% they are asking for any additional tip. I am all about tipping whenever there is service to the table but when I am ordering to have a quick eat at the bar why should there be a service charge of 18-20% (this is separate from tip). I asked the cashier why do I have to pay a service charge of 20% if it is only me eating and I’m not getting any table (literally an acai bowl in the bar) and she mentioned it’s because management says and it’s not possible to remove it. The fee goes to the restaurant but not the waiters as the waiters only get the “additional tips” but I clearly did not feel paying about 40% between service as tips. Acai bowl was very bland and didn’t taste very good either. I personally prefer sweeter ones."

"Each time that I've visited Pura Vida (and I constantly visit it in its different locations in Miami), I feel I'm in good hands for its quality and good service! Yesterday I ordered the Oven Roasted Salmon Plate, and even though the portion was small (I hope it was at least 0.25 lb) it was on point, truly succulent, as well as its sides. With respect to the service, all the young people that serve like a cashier, and the waiters were enchanting. Special mention to the musical background that is always great, to an adequate volume and to the happy, healthy and modern atmosphere of Pura Vida. It is definitely, one of my favourite places in Miami!"
