Mastro's Ocean Club

"Just had a fabulous Valentine's Day dinner last night thanks to Mastro's. I have never been here so it was a first and not the last. Driving here, we did see a self park garage but we went ahead and did valet for $8. We then walked in and checked in with the host for our reservation. We saw a few parties ahead of us waiting in this area so we were a bit concerned there would be a wait. We were seated within 5-10 minutes so we were pretty delighted about that. Once we were seated, our server came over with menus. There was a separate menu for cocktails. We thought it was really unique that they had tableside cocktails that had a little smoke show. We started off with a basket of bread and butter. We didn't notice the $5 charge but it was worth it. There were assorted breads and we enjoyed sampling each type. We ordered lobster bisque and Caesar salad to share. This hit the table quickly and they were kind enough to divide the salad in two bowls for us to share. We thought the Caesar salad had too much cheese but it came together nicely. We then started receiving our steaks, lobster tails and sides. These were presented nicely and they served us a spoonful of each side on our steak plate. We loved the service. I guess I wasn't expecting too much - thinking this would be like any other steakhouse but WOW was I wrong. This is one of the best steakhouses I've been to. The first bite of my bone in ribeye told me that. I loved the flavoring and juicyness of my ribeye. It was cooked to perfection. I wanted to note that the sides are really large. We ordered 3 sides for us 2 and we can tell you right now, it was more than enough. We had plenty of leftovers and the staff kindly boxed everything up for us. We did tell them that we wanted to box up our bread. The person who we told, went ahead and said he would just throw away ours and put fresh bread in. We thought that was super sweet! However, we got home and didn't get the bread. Bummer because we did pay for it. But that's okay. The restaurant is dimly lit and that made me pretty sleepy after our meal! We also really enjoyed walking outside and seeing the boats on the water and the Valentines Day decorated couches by the tableside fire. Everything was perfect and at the end of the meal, the restaurant handed each woman a rose. Thank you to the staff who went above and beyond to make this a memorable holiday."

"Not only was Michael A-MAZING, but Nidia consistently checked on our table to make sure that we wanted for nothing. Nidia was as phenomenal & her passion for hospitality truly shined throughout the night. I came here a few years ago for my birthday and I didn’t think I could have an even better experience than I already had. EXEMPLARY SERVICE ACROSS THE BOARD!!!!!! I appreciate the support staff so much (Jaylin & Steven) as well as the service & management staff. My friends and I will definitely be back!!! "Exceptional. Visited for my girlfriends birthday and we enjoyed our experience. Starting with the food, we had to start with the bread service we'd heard much about. Fantastic. We also had the seared tuna and raw oysters, both were finger linking good. My steak in rib eye was perfectly medium rare, tender, juicy, a dream. My girlfriend ordered the chilean sea bass...and upon trying a bite, I almost regretted my choice. The fish was bewilderingly soft, fantastically flavored. Sides of roasted brussel sprouts and garlic mashed potatoes was the cherry on top. Speaking of dessert, shout out to Chip, our server! We loved the cake and ice cream, and appreciated the exceptional service by Chip all night. Next time, we're already looking at the lobster mashed potatoes!"

"It was my first time coming here and I came for my birthday month and I loved every second of it . From the food , the scenery, the drinks and the comfort of being welcome to this fine dining restaurant. Highly recommend this restaurant and trust me when I say it’s worth your try."

"So this was my first time dining at this place, the atmosphere was very nice, definitely for the grown and sexy. It is right on the water so pretty nice views. The waitress was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was very pleasing to the palate as well as the cocktails. We ordered appetizers and it was hot and tasty. I ordered salmon, garlic mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts it was very very very good. Now you must bring your wallet Because nothing is cheap, they even charge for the bread on the table which was delicious. It is well worth it to treat yourself and a great place for a date night. I highly recommend this place."
