Eddie V's Prime Seafood

"Upscale steak and seafood restaurant on top of Mizner park. The atmosphere is posh and relaxed and the crowd is mostly middle aged and up. Frazier in the car mixed some really good, and string cocktails before we sat down. The waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable. We ordered a few appetizers; Tina tartar which was big enough to share and very good. My wedge salad, however, was a bit of a disappointment; i couldn't detect blue cheese, no balsamic drizzle and two big pieces of bacon that was just put on top of the wedge.....I have had a better salad at Outback! The steaks and Chilian Seabass was on point and the scalloped potatoes as well. The chocolate dessert was also very good. Overall a good experience, pricey, and not to the level of Mortens, but a good night overall"

"So, I like taking the time out to review my restaurant experience. This was my first time dining at Eddie V's as it was a belated birthday dinner for me. When we got there we had to use the valeir service based on how the restaurant is situated. I wasn't able to make the reservation but showed up anyways and the hostess was very nice enough to accommodate me and my best friend. The cocktails were good. We have the 14 karat, which is one of their speciality. Our server for the night was Tiffany. She offered exceptional service and catered to our needs, making sure that we had all we needed. A big thank you to Tiffany. Awesome job. The appetizer was okay. My friend enjoyed her tacos. The food, well, not what I was expecting. I was a little disappointed to be honest, maybe the chef was just having a bad night. We ordered the Norwegian Salmon and the Mediterranean Branzino. The flavor was missing, it was a blah taste nothing to speak about but like I said, maybe the chef was having a bad night. I will go back and give it another try. I did enjoy my dessert. I had the Warm Belgian chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and fruits that went with it. They do have a live band that did an awesome job at entertaining with good smooth old school music, which I do love. We met a beautiful couple, they took the dance floor and sure did enjoy the music. Thanks to Jackson, the lead singer with his amazing voice, there was not a song he could not carry. He was nice enough to do a special for me. Awesome group and I will definitely be going back just for the entertainment. I would recommend this restaurant, good vibes, nice music and wonderful staff."

"Amazing food!..the bar staff was superb! Loved the atmosphere! Highly recommend! Only downside I experienced, but have had the same experience with all the places in Mizner..is...im enjoying my meal...inside at the bar..and i randomly get approached by the kids who go around selling candy, and are also stealing from people... do not think it was very appropriate..and these kids need to be stopped! Overall tho..the experience was exceptional!, baila (bar tender) was on point! Mike the manager .friendly kind very experienced!"

"My wife and I, began our second anniversary with dinner at Eddie V's on January 1st, 2024 . Major shout out to our server Andres! Before I share my experience I'd like to begin with the cleanliness of the bathroom! Whenever the bathroom is as clean as it was during my visit, I trust that the kitchen is equally clean! As a foodie/food enthusiast I challenge anyone to find a better crab cake than the one at Eddie V's. The steamed sea bass(Hong Kong style) was amazing. Crab rice pairs well with any entree offered especially the sea bass and salmon. Eddie V's is a refreshing experience from start to finish, from the: hostess, servers, food , ambiance, overall VALUE and Quality! Definitely make a reservation!"

"Definitely a great addition to the dining scene at Mizner Park, Eddie V’s is an excellent choice for date night or business. They’ve completely transformed the restaurant space in a warm, comfortable modern style. We tried several dishes including the filet mignon, which the smallest portion is 10 oz. It was tender and well prepared although I wish they had a smaller portion. I recommend to try the lamb chops - they were tender, perfectly seasoned and grilled. They offer a great chef’s selection of shareable side dishes that are well portioned. The au gratin potatoes were a favorite & flavorful but we were disappointed in the Brussels sprouts which were dry and we didn’t enjoy the overall recipe. They make an excellent Manhattan from the bar. The wait time for our drinks was nearly 30 minutes so we opted not to order a second. (I’m certain that’s a temporary issue as a newer restaurant.) I will go back but next time to indulge in the extensive wine list. All in all I recommend this restaurant but allow 2 - 2 1/2 hours for the experience. It is expensive so ask for recommendations from the staff to ensure you have the best experience."
