"Pretty good food. Maybe the best combination anywhere of baby back ribs, crispy fries and cole slaw on one plate. The queso dip and carrot cake are also very good. I haven’t gotten around to trying much else as I don’t go here often so stick with my favorites. The service is very dependent on who you get as a server and they have only ever gotten my request right once for extra bbq sauce on the side."
"We visited J. Alexander's for late afternoon cocktails and appetizers. I really enjoyed the elegant and spacious ambiance. Both the food and drink were superb, as was the service! Our waitress even took the time to hand-write some of her best recommendations for our upcoming visit to Key West."
"Went there after a play across the street at FAU. Very nice restaurant that is huge. I like they print their daily specials with prices. Also a very nice wine list with a good choices of wine by the glass. My wife loves their CYPRESS SALAD with chopped crispy chicken tenders, pecans, avocado, bacon, cheese, croutons and ranch dressing. I tried the AHI TUNA, seared and sliced, soy ginger sherry sauce, orzo & wild rice and ripened tomatoes, very good."
