The Burger Shack

"In town visiting and wanted somewhere local to eat… this was a good choice! I ordered the BBQ chicken wrap. It tasted really fresh and light. The tortilla was soft, the chicken had good flavor, the bacon added a little crunchy texture to balance it all out. It was a little dry for me so I added a little of their own “Shack sauce” that helped too. Overall, I was satisfied with it and glad I chose it. You can also choose a Caesar variation of it. My wife ordered “The Cove” burger and she really enjoyed it. She enjoyed the Green Goddess sauce on it. I tried it as well and thought it was a good tasting burger, it tasted really fresh. The fries were hot, and so I appreciated that. They were salted, but basic fries. A decent portion of those was a good thing too. Service and atmosphere were great. Had a great experience there, appreciated the hospitality. Good choice if you are looking for something “local.”"

"Excellent burger that held together through the last bite. The burgers are cooked to order and the price is what you would expect for a restaurant at an attraction. Server was prompt and made multiple visits to ensure everything was good. This is a burger restaurant at a mini golf course. This is not a place to have a quiet burger and conversation. There is a playground directly adjacent to the dining area that is full of kids playing. The atmosphere is what you should expect at a location like this."

"Has a play area for kids and out door games, and mini gold next door. The young lady was nice but wasn't direct and didn't ask the necessary questions. I ordered a burger, she didn't ask if I wanted the smash burger or the 8oz(which is more), didnt ask me how I wanted the buger cooked(was listed as medium). We asked about the 2 for 1 deal for today which is Monday. When we got the bill we were charged full price for each meal. The young lady never told us that the special didn't apply on holidays. Also got the wrap and asked her if I could get it with out the pompano sauce, didn't realize it was mixed in the rice and chicken. First time coming here and wasn't a good experience. The music was to loud."

"A place where they are waiting for you, a place where adults and children will not be sad. Parents can eat in peace while the children play on the playground. The burgers are unsurpassed, the salad portions are huge and delicious. We will definitely come back more than once."

"Had to try this place out for the atmosphere...and it didn't disappoint! Parking spots were tight for a large SUV, as the spots are definitely geared towards compact cars and small SUVs. Menu selection seemed small, but I'd rather a few great foods, then a lot of options and bad food. Kids playground is definitely geared towards larger children (ages 5+) as we brought our 2 year old and he was being run over by the larger kids. There was a mini golf course with 2 separate 18-hole mini courses, which we didn't do this time, but we will definitely be back to try it out! For 2pm on a Saturday, there weren't a lot of people. The people that were there, were all families with kids. So I'm assuming it gets busier at night for the mini golf. As for the food: Bbq Chicken sandwich was flavorful and the piece of chicken was very large. Sweet potato fries were basic in flavor but still good. Smashed classic burger was so good, especially the bacon jam on it! Regular french fries came with it and tasted like frozen fries that were undercooked and a bit hard. Also got a side of coleslaw, which was swimming in mayo (which I loved, but I understand that being awful to some people). Overall, definitely a place I'd recommend, especially for the burger, date nights, or if you have kids!"
