About the Business
Ocala Preparatory Academy is a K-12 private school located in Ocala, Florida. Our institution offers a holistic, faith-based education model for students who thrive in a smaller, caring classroom setting or may need additional academic support in our ESE classroom. Our curriculum includes hands-on, project-based learning with a focus on developing the mind, body, and spirit of each student.
We have limited openings in our inclusion classes for Kindergarten through 8th grade, as well as an ESE classroom for 4th-8th grade students. Our small class sizes and student/staff ratio support optimal learning opportunities for all students. Additionally, we provide a required trial period for potential students to ensure a good fit for our educational model.
Please note that there are out-of-pocket costs associated with admission, even with a School Choice SUFS scholarship. Our admissions process and tuition/fee schedules are available for review on our website. We are unable to provide admission to prospective students with behavioral issues or those in need of 1:1 support, unless they have ABA support in place.
At Ocala Preparatory Academy, we focus on developing well-rounded and confident adults by educating the whole child. Our caring staff emphasizes emotional, social, spiritual, and cognitive well-being for each student. We believe in creating a classroom culture that fosters experiential learning and student-centered education.
Our engaging curriculum includes a variety of resources such as Abeka, Wonders, and Dave Ramsey’s Foundations for Personal Finance, alongside hands-on, project-based assignments. We offer faith-based options integrated into the curriculum, based on the diverse needs of our students and classroom settings.
Founded in 2016, Ocala Preparatory Academy is committed to providing a supportive and enriching learning environment for all students.
