Bailey Middle School

"I had to put 1 star otherwise I would put ZERO! This is one of the worst schools I have seen in Escambia County School District. My child came home every day telling me about a fight that happened with students....every day! He has been bullied on multiple occasions to the point we filed a police report. But since it happened over social media and not at school there was nothing the school district could do. So my son had to endure the backlash on the bus and in school from this kids "friends". The teachers don't care about the students. They didn't care that my son was failing all of his classes because he was too scared to say anything in class for fear of repeated bullying from other kids. Not one teacher called me to say there was a problem with my kid in their class. He barely passed his classes and will not be returning this school year. I really hope they turn this school around and make it a safer educational environment for all those kids."

"We have a a weird learning system. The teachers make you write information like 6 different times about the same thing just in a different format. Some teachers don't know how to teach the subject they teach. The food is only somewhat edible. The bathrooms have graffiti that is bad and it isn't covered up. Otherwise I have learned some stuff"

"I love this school but hate it at the same time. I am a student at the school and I am a vegetarian for religious reason and I don't eat their food some times but I hope there are more vegetarian food items in this school. I get As and Bs but that's because teachers do not care about their jobs. I hope this school could improve when my kids go here if it will be open when they get here"

"This school is terrible and if I had the resources my children would not go back in the morning. The staff is just down right rude and non helpful. The teachers intimidate the students and do nothing against bullying. You have to almost harass the staff for responses to anything."

"I couldn't wait to move to this school because I had heard such good things about it. Once I enrolled my child here, I found out most of the information was a lie. The counselor would never get back to me by email or phone. When I went in person, she was either not there or she would take my information and not get back to me for weeks. I would have to go back in to see her again and she was just apologize and say that she would get right on it. As far as the teachers go, some are good, but most don't care if your child passes or fails. My child has an IEP and most of my child's teachers didn't know until I got fed up and requested a conference 5 months later. My overall view of this school is... staff are rude, counselors don't follow up with your teacher concerns, and teachers are just there to collect their checks."
