Sonny's BBQ

"Our school’s coach bus stopped by the chick fil a across the street from this Sonny’s. We left the group to head over to Sonny’s because we were craving some smoked turkey big deals. The staff was so nice and I explained we only had like 15 minutes while the group picked up the chick fil an order. These guys put together our meals and had us on our way in under 10 minutes. Hot and fresh, delicious smoked turkey beats chicken nuggets any day!!"

"This is by far the Sonny’s I’ve ever been to. Service, food, it was all top notch. And then there’s John. Enough can’t be said about his friendliness and professionalism. Such a great leader! Will be back in town in a few weeks, and I’m certainly stopping in for great food and friendly service."

"I ordered a large catered order at the last minute. The manager, John, was able to fulfill my order with no problems, and he went above and beyond to accommodate my special requests. While placing the order, the cashier who answered the phone told me to hold on so she could check with management to see if they had enough food prepared to fulfill my request. John immediately told her to let's get the job done! Kudos to the entire team! Even the cook came out to greet me. I generally place large orders at this location often, but this time was indeed something special. My clients and staff enjoyed themselves, I definitely will continue doing business with your location! I sincerely can't thank you guys enough. I hope the entire team receives some form of acknowledgment from upper management because this is what customer retention is all about!"

"The food was great, fresh and quick! ( Note: please remember they are so good they are very busy on the weekends so please plan for that, everybody wants some!) wonderful atmosphere and music just right and air temp, very nice. So bring the family and you will enjoy….they aim to please, not sure on something, please ask and enjoy…..we did!"

"Update: we stopped here again during our visit and eat indoors. We had another great visit. We ordered a variety of meals and all of them were very delicious and the staff was very attentive. We stopped here to pick up an order of ribs for a family member who's in a nursing facility and had a craving for Sonny's BBQ ribs. I ordered from the pickup station. They had a large menu selection of drinks and food. The staff was nice and friendly and the restaurant appeared clean with a great atmosphere. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We hope to stop in on our next visit to Gainesville."
