"The tech was very kind and thorough! She explained the entire procedure and made sure I was comfortable. The staff in admissions and at the help desk were wonderful as well!"

"I attended a Total Joint Program here a few weeks prior to my scheduled knee replacement surgery. The presentation was interesting and organized well. All questions were answered and I feel well prepared for my surgery and overnight stay. This team represented the hospital well."

"The Emergency Room check-in was very professional and very polite. However, the next step is very frustrating, unpleasant and unprofessional. The individuals who prioritize the patients are not that bright. I saw patients with severe issues waiting while healthier patients who came in hours after them go before them. "I was sent to the ER by a Doctor while in his office". I could've called for an Ambulance to pick me up but being only two blocks away, I drove myself. "Your ER staff was notified by my Physician that I was on the way". The people who determine who will be next in line are very ignorant and obviously know very little about prioritizing who's illness is worse. Apparently, your department has no respect for a physicians diagnosis of someone needing emergency care. Just in case you're thinking I am unable to pay or don't have insurance, wrong on both accounts. Actually just the opposite. The most disturbing incident that happened while I was in severe pain, watching people go ahead of me is, I saw a man come out and look at a lady and say, hey why didn't you tell me you were here, I would've call you back when you came in! She probably had a corn that needed looking at. I am a 25 year, Honorably retired Master Sergeant, I know how to prioritize patients and your department obviously doesn't. If you would take out the buddy system and train your incompetent, inefficient staff, you may see better results all around. Just FYI. My medical emergency required a 4 day stay and possible surgery. Yet I saw many many people with no emergency go before me. To be exact, one illegal immigrant, one medical employee and one good friend or family of your ER employee. All three unacceptable and a disgusting display of Emergency Care."
