"The food is great Caribbean dishes, but get there before lunch and dinner rushes. These wonderful ladies dishing everything up are very sweet, I enjoy how polite and welcoming they are. The atmosphere is quite tight and can get a bit crowded for my liking. Other than that I'd recommend stopping in for their brown stew chicken, oxtail, and my personal favorite curry goat, all accompanied with rice and peas with steamed cabbage."
"The curry goat lunch special was DELICIOUS but the red peas soup was not. I did not get one piece of meat. All I got was fat. It was rather gross. I would not be ordering another soup from this one again but will surely be back for the curry goat."
"Wow what a disappointment it’s sad to see this location go downhill and the employees helping down the drain. The older manger who has consistently done a poor job keeps her job while she carelessly serves customers their food. She has a rude disposition that is exclusively for the Jamaicans, cause the few white people were served with smiles while everyone else was rushed. $15 was the total for a small jerk pork that was mostly all fat pieces. The food taste like it’s been sitting in oil and lost it’s flavor. The portion of had 1 piece of meat the rest fat pieces. The lady carelessly served me this subpar food where she put rice in the meat section and gave me a few pieces. The plantain was burnt so couldn’t have any. The cold cabbage coleslaw is now an additional 3.99 which makes no sense as the price of the food expensive. The price was definitely not worth the food and it’s sad to see this location go down hill."
"This restaurant was fabulous from the moment I entered. The staff that works their have a great spirit but their food was absolutely incredible. From their curry goat that was very hot and tender, to their tender ox tail stew poured over rice and peas. I was very pleased with their food. And their partitions are very generous for the customer. I recommend this restraunt for anyone who appreciates good Carribean Food!"
"Full of oil and asked not to have oil in my plate and the second plate full Of oil. Cashier/ Server has a nasty attitude and obviously not happy to be at work so early. Restaurant outside looks very poorly. Need to do better."
