"Our first visit was a small rollercoaster but patience wins the day. Water service started with a linguistics challenge to order a bottle of still water vs tap. We got some great aqua panna. The service was more of 4.5 stars. The table behind us order sparkling water and requested a wine chiller , this was delivered as requested. The food was slow to arrive but we'll worth the wait. Everything was delicious. We chicken Tikka masala it was excellent. I order chicken biryani for the first time ever. All I can say is wow. The presentation and flavors were remarkable. It seems I was a beneficiary of a mix up and received the Chef Asif Biryani. It was amazing. Cheers!! Our waiter was very good and visited us just the right amount the staff seems to very locked in to ensure a good service. The location and design of the space portrays a high end experience to match the gastronomic creations. We will return."

"Chef Asif deserves all the accolades he receives. The menu he has put together is inventive, well prepared, beautifully presented and DELICIOUS. A warm, inviting and tastefully appointed atmosphere. To anyone who might balk at Indian food, you just need to come here where it’s done right. Not spicy if you don’t want it to be, but full of amazing flavor. Bravo!!"

"I was a big fan of this restaurant and would have given 5 stars in the past. I boasted to visitors about how surprisingly good the food was compared to having Indian food in New York City for most of my life. However my last visit the food came out cold - clearly an indication of re-heating the dish previously made and of lesser importance they ran out of scotch which was just odd for a restaurant. (Also very odd and really created a very low end feeling was $3 surcharge for the Indian chips you usually get served when you sit down). So sadly after spending thousands in a couple of years and nearly $400+ this last time for 4 adults I think 21 Spices has jumped the shark and run its course due to apparent cost cutting while maintaining high end pricing."

"21 species is an Indian restaurant, one of the first in Naples since 2005. Despite how long they have been open, they haven't compromised on their style. My first visit was a wonderful experience, the atmosphere was lovely and the service was spectacular. Let me reiterate the star rating, if I could do a 4.8 I would. The appetizer we had was simple yet flavorful and our entrees were some of the best Indian food we've had. The desert however was the only thing lacking for me unfortunately, the creme brulee in my opinion was a little too curdled and not smooth as it typically should. Despite that, I will return to 21 Species when I am in Naples again. When it comes to Indian food, Chef Asif knows exactly what he's doing!"
