"I had the ancient Grain bowl and my husband had the trout. Mine had a spice that kept me going back for more. My husband said the trout melted in his mouth. I love the concept of Organic and anti-inflammatory menu. We sat on the heated patio with a beautiful fireplace for a cozy atmosphere. Our waiter was attentive and helpful."

"So atmosphere place itself are always nice and beautiful. Well, the hostess was really nice. Our waiter was a bit dry and quick and they weren’t very busy. There were four of us eating. We ordered three appetizers, the Brussels, the dumplings and the cauliflower. All of them were good really loved the mushrooms that were in the brussels sprouts and whatever sauce they had was delicious, I had th OG burger with the fingerling potatoes The burger was OK it lacked a little bit of flavor, The fingerling potatoes were cooked nice but again no flavor they needed like some rosemary all the way on salt or something. I tried the other three dishes which were the chicken Panini which I’ve had that before it’s good, the trout which I had not I think it was the best meal, and the lasagna Bolognese I’d also had before it was pretty good. I know it’s a healthy place so they probably stay away from over salting the potatoes or the meat but the cauliflower and the Brussels had such good spices flavors and taste I know that they can improve on the burger and the potatoes, I would definitely recommend checking it out. Even though I didn’t have them this time, the curry is delicious and they have the best kale salad."

"Sit at the bar. Many of the seats are metal and a bit uncomfortable. Seats at the bar are softer. Food was excellent and well flavored. We also tried the vegan version of the carrot cake and it was delicious."

"We really enjoyed our time here. The outdoor patio has a nice fireplace and a plant wall. The food is very fresh and has some funky, creative options--pizza with butternut squash, lemon almond ricotta cheese, caramelized onions, kale and cranberries anyone? Service was very good with friendly, timely service. Our waiter explained their founder designs their food options to be very healthy and make keep you from feeling bloated afterward. With funky food comes a certain crowd. If you like sitting among older women who keep the host busy with questions about organic wine options or people with dogs in carriages (half of the people there), these are your people. These aren't my people, but I enjoy watching them...and sharing their love of good food."

"At True Food Kitchen the food is intended to be healthy and tasty. Unfortunately, the main courses look much better than they taste. The Saturday night we went to True Food was not a busy night in the restaurant. Maybe it was a third full but we still did not get food that was delivered properly or quickly. Mistakes were made and corrected, but only after I tracked down the waiter by leaving the table to hunt for them. The food itself looks good, but doesn't taste as good as it looks. Maybe it's a lack of proper seasoning or a reduced amount of fat. Whatever it is, there is something lacking in the taste of the main courses. This is not the case with the desserts we had. They were delightful and sized for two to easily share. I can't recommend the dinners, but I can recommend the dessert and coffee.
