"The owner greeted myself, and a guest that was in line before me. Explained to us the entire concept and venue. He was really excited and super friendly in describing how the whole process works. I'm a pro and knew what I wanted already, so the patron in front of me let me go ahead. Awesome spot for really fresh fish and ingredients. I've been driving by this place for a few months now, and finally had the time to stop in and grab a bowl. Start with your base: white rice, brown and rice, or mixed greens - or in my case, a little bit of brown, a little bit of greens! Then a whopping three proteins! I took the owners recommendation, and went with the Ahi Tuna for all three of my scoops, and they toss it in the sauces of your choosing! I chose the slightly spicy fire habanero and the traditional poke! Both really incredibly delicious. Then you get your choice of toppings: I chose raw cucumbers, pickled ginger, seaweed, salad, mango, edamame, pickled cucumbers/radishes and jalapeños for a little kick. All incredibly well put together, incredibly fresh, and so delicious! Chose the fire cilantro, vegan dressing topper, and a little bit of spicy mayo on the side just for some fun. And walked out of there for $16.06 with tax, for an awesome dinner! I'll pack up the bag, grab the chopsticks and headed out for one of the best Poké bowls I've had in a really long time. If you're in Venice, and want fresh poke, stop in Island, Fin poke and grab yourself a bowl!"
