"This local hangout was recommended to us. It's obvious that is a favorite place to go due to the fact that there were very busy at 1:00 in the afternoon on a Sunday. Still no wait line. We were quickly seated on the canal side where they had the isenglass down. It was a sunny day but cool. We were quickly served water by our waiter. He offered some suggestions and we had a hot toddy and a cappuccino warm us up. I ordered the grouper sandwich blackened which was a little disappointing to me as it should have had more flavor than what it did. My wife ordered the nachos and they put so much queso on them that they overwhelmed the chips, making them soggy. I would just order the queso on the side. It was a large portion of chips for sure but there's no way you can eat them all before they get soggy. It's noisy in there so if you have a hard time hearing this might not be the place to go."
