"We decided to have an unplanned breakfast here on a Sunday morning, so the wait was a little over 30 minutes - but we were not disappointed. Service was friendly - both by hostesses and waitstaff. Food came out pretty timely. We had the brioche French toast with anglaise sauce and berries and a full order or biscuits and gravy split into two. Biscuits and gravy: right at the first bite we were convinced we made a great choice. Biscuits were a bit crunchy and not just soggied up by the gravy. Gravy had the right consistency and sausage was not over powering. Not too salty or with a runny or cement-like gravy. Perfect flavors! Brioche French toast: you can definitely taste the brioche flavor on the bread and it was perfectly fry toasted with a delicious vanilla sauce - again, not overpowering and with a great balance of flavors. Price/value: we walked out completely satisfied for under $30 before tip (2 people). This place has immediately become one of our favorite breakfast spots and we’ll be back soon!"
"Let me make this clear, I only had the corned beef hash but since I sat at the kitchen counter I looked at the other foods and everything looked great. The corned beef is definitely homemade. You have to try it. The home fries have a little bit of blackening which is the way I like them. Service was great."
"We are visiting from out of town and found this place online. Based on the reviews we knew we wanted to try it. It was worth the drive and wait. The move people through pretty quickly but I understand why they are busy! The food is very fresh has a farm to table feel to it. I altered the avocado toast to leave off eggs and add cucumbers so it would fit my diet. They accommodated and it was delicious. Hubby had an amazing omelet filled with meats and cheese. The coffee was top notch which is hard to find so often at a breakfast place. Service was good. We will be back when we visit Nokomis Beach again."
