The Pizza Press - Winter Garden

"This location does custom pizza and has lots of great options and can do just about any dietary need. The pizza is great and we love it. Unfortunately this location is poorly run. After many visits we know that we have to plan way ahead here. We have done mobile order so it was ready when we arrived. Every time they have not had it ready when we arrived. Sometimes taking up to 45m more to get our food. Most of the time they haven't even starting making our pizzas. I don't blame the front line crews for this issue. We usually only see one or two of them doing all the work and never see any leaders. While we are waiting for ours to be made (that we preordered online), there is usually a line out the door. The poor under staffed crews are doing their best to keep up and do things as fast as they can. I applaud them. This location really needs new leadership to correct these issues and actually step in to help out when things get backed up."

"This is another custom pizza place that is similar to others in the area. The pizza was good although slightly higher priced than some of the nearby competition. There is a decent amount of indoor seating as well as a nice outdoor area with lounge furniture, tables, and heaters for when it gets cooler."

"Another great pizza spot! The staff is nice and the food is phenomenal! Toppings are hardy and the drinks (beers) are top notch...Very impressed with the flavors and quality of toppings. I ordered a build your own pizza and pizza maker Rebeca threw her elbows in with those toppings! Pizza was delicious and worth the visit...come out and visit! Definitely a revisit!"

"Setting: Plenty of ample seating, indoor and outdoor. I do wish parking was more ample but if you go before or after high traffic hours, there is plenty. Service: A very kind staff member assisted us and was patient as it was our first time. They are high school age, at least they look that way, so you must understand if they aren’t beaming with customer service. Food: We have tried Mod and Blaze and this place is right there with them. Their prices are slightly higher but I believe the pizza is also bigger, we didn’t get the 20 something inch one. Plenty of options, there wasn’t one that I had elsewhere that wasn’t available here. The pizza dough is more than the usual cracker thin crust you find, it’s doughier and imo better."

"They have really committed to the bit with the actual pizza press. It slows down the line a bit but I guess that’s worth it to them for the branding. The line can be pretty slow so not a quick lunch time stop or a quick anytime stop. It’s also kinda pricey for a chain. They do have a vegan cheese option but the food is all thrown around pretty haphazardly so I wouldn’t count on anything being truly vegan. The beer selection is pretty varied for a limited number of taps."
