"First and only time I have eaten here. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and potato salad. When the sandwich came it was on a croissant, not bread or bun which is small. Potato salad was good, but they use a basket with paper on top of it for a plate. Sandwich was good, but even ordering with water my bill was over 13 dollars. Not a very good value for your money. The kitchen is open and you can hear staff talking loud. I even heard some one ask for a band-aid because they cut themself and someone else asked if they needed to go to the hospital. All staff are very young, but the server was nice and there was no wait."
"Every time my son in law comes to visit, we have to go there. Best food, great service. A nice relaxing atmosphere. You never feel rushed no matter how busy they are."
"The cafe is in an old home, with many vintage decor pieces and which is currently decorated beautifully for Christmas! The service was stellar, despite the fact that we came in minutes before closing time. The chicken salad sandwich was unbelievably delicious. I also highly recommend the cucumber salad. They also had some pretty derned good sweet tea!"
"Had a delightful lobster stuffed avocado on greens for lunch today. The crab bisque was also very tasty. Portions are generous and prices are low compared to most other places in the area. My lunch partner had the vegetable soup with beef, the same lobster stuffed avocado, then pecan pie for dessert. His food looked great and was delicious. The restaurant is in a converted house with lots of eye-candy to enjoy. The service was great also!"
