"Food took nearly two hours to prepare. One person’s pork was completely undercooked, literally unsafe to eat. One person’s dish was cold, with dry fish and dry rice. I was served a dirty plate for my appetizer. We tried to be understanding but the whole experience was just awful, and then they offered us 40% off even though nobody was comfortable eating their entree given the obvious food safety disregard of serving undercooked pork. Just absurd. Then, the chef came out to clear the plates (that none of us would eat) and he was weirdly aggressive and rude. I don’t think he was the regular chef and I think he was alone in the kitchen, he seemed overwhelmed, but at that point you need to just close the restaurant for the night. Horrible service. Like actually mind boggling, I don’t understand what happened this night but it was unacceptable."

"This restaurant has a nice atmosphere, with cozy lighting and comfortable seating. The service is friendly and attentive, and the menu offers a variety of French-inspired cuisine. I recommend the duck breast in a marsala wine sauce and shrimp and Andouille sausage. We also loved their matcha creme brûlée. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. Paramount Grill is a wonderful spot in Gainesville for a date night, a family dinner, or a casual lunch with friends."

"Quiet little spot. Nothing flashy but cozy. Wait staff is very friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. The decor is out dated but still very clean. This place was suggested as "fine dining" so that is the only reason I gave a 4 star. This place is casual with a great menu."

"Atmosphere: Small space and cozy feel. Food: Steak and Eggs Nothing special but a good option for a meal. Well seasoned and cooked. Bison Burrito Very good flavors particularly with the fresh salsa. I enjoyed the fact that the gaminess of the bison did not overpower the other flavors. Service: Very friendly and timely. Final thoughts: A good place to go sit down and have a meal and enjoy conversation with a special other(s). No TV or other distractions, other than people walking past the storefront."
