"By law, we have to send our kids to school. Also by law, we have to keep our kids safe. Do the schools not have that same responsibility? As online school is not an option and masks are optional, where does that leave the parents decision to keep their kids safe? There isnt one. The board members mask up for their meetings, why? Because they want to be safe, but arent they the ones in charge of our childrens safety and well being? You would think protecting our children would be their number one goal instead of just looking after themselves. We are getting 3 or 4 calls a week of positive results but we have to continue to send our kids there. This is not a political game, its a health and sometimes a life/death issue. If our home is deemed unsafe, we get a neglect charge, what makes the school system exempt? Children are the innocent victims, its their job to protect them for 7 hrs a day and they're falling short."
