Sonic Drive-In

"Saw the pulled pork burger advertisement so decided to try. My first clue there'd be an issue was the employee had no clue what I was ordering off their menu and had to ask someone. Problem #2, After a 15 min wait for them to figure it out and make it, we got our food. Big problem #3, the advertisement promises "piled high", looking like a typical pulled pork sandwich with added burger & cheese. I opened it up, handed it to my wife thinking it was hers given all I saw was a burger patty....sadly, it was mine. The promised "piled high pulled pork" amounted to 3...seriously, three, little hunks of pork hiding in the middle...are you kidding me??? Talk about fraudulent bait & switch. Don't waste your business with these crooks. Never again for us."

"This is THE place to avoid!! Okay...I tried not ignore the 1 star reviews. Went to this Sonic (close to the beach and our location) and sat in line (only my car bc the truck in front drove away and the 2 cars behind me drove away) and it took 24 minutes...and they STILL didn't include 1 combo fries nor any straws for the drinks. I only ordered 2 burger combos and 1 Chilli cheese dog. It took 5 minutes before someone acknowledged me at the order sign/point, then 19 minutes or more for them to hand the food out the window. I see why other people drove away. If my family hadn't stayed at the beach (if they were with me), I would have just left. I RARELY give a bad review but if something is bad enough I feel the need to let other know so they don't have the same experience. I have one recommendation for this location...avoid at all cost. @The below reply from the Sonic Drive-In owner: though it disappeared after this edit/reply: I am not taking my time to call or message the franchise owner. It is up to them to pay attention or perhaps periodically go through the line to see how their business is being run. The food industry is the easiest industry that the owner/investors can experience from the side of the customer/consumer. In the end this was a great learning point for my 11 year old son who was there with me. I told him, if you have a (or multiple) businesses, check in on them and if it's being run poorly, go there and do the work yourself. Sometimes that is what it takes if you really care about it. Otherwise you will fail, like I see this Sonic doing sometime in the near future."

"This has got to be the most consistently slow sonic I've ever been to. I am usually prepared to wait 10-15 minutes for my order but today it has already taken over 30. I pressed the button to order and was answered by a very blank person after about 3 or 4 minutes. I'm not sure why this franchise owner allows this to happen, but there should be a point where corporate steps in to protect the name for the investors."

"Drive thru only waited 30 mins then got the nastiest burger I couldn't even eat !:( it is rock hard nasty I was starving & couldn't eat it !:("
