"We eat here 3 or 4 times every winter. This being our 7th year doing so, we have decided the food was well below our expectations. After spending $52.31 on a dinner meal for us two, we will decide never to return. Okra was excellent as always, but the fried oysters and shrimp were well below previous meals. Going to Long John Slivers...."

"It is not often I give a five-star review, however I have always been met with smiles, helpful employees, great food, a clean environment, and great interactions with the staff. I have yet to have anything bad here, and everything on the menu is delicious. I have sampled almost everything on it. Even the sweet tea / unsweet tea has good flavor. Service is fast as long as they are not overwhelmed with people, the food is cooked properly, plentiful, and absolutely delicious. I'm not certain I would pay $30 for the platter, because it is about the same size as the dinner plus a fillet of fish (I forget if it was some form of whitefish or not) for an extra $15 vs the popcorn shrimp and similar dinner plates. If you like grits, the cheese grits are slightly spicy but barely. Highly recommend those as well as the barbecue beans being phenomenal. They taste like something I would have at an actual barbecue. I will definitely be back and this is my third visit now, I believe. Very consistent place, though it can get crowded during touristy months and no business goes without suffering a little when they are overrun. Once again, highly recommend!"

"Absolutely one of the best meals we've had, since our arrival this past Sunday! Seriously delicious! I had the bang-bang chicken, baked beans and onion strings; my husband had tacos (fish and bang-bang shrimp & grilled shrimp). Highly recommend!"

"Great customer service! It is counter service but the person taking our order was extremely helpful with ordering. It was our first time here and there are a lot of options to ordering and customizing what you prefer. I like my fries extra crispy and they did that for me but didn’t delay our food for it. They brought the fries out a few min later. The food was really good and the portions are plenty! My husband got Mahi Mahi, fried onions and coleslaw. I got pick 2 and had grilled chicken, bang bang shrimp, fries and baked beans. The meals come with 2 hush puppies so you don’t have to order those as a side. Great food, customer service and was easy. We will definitely visit again when we are in town!"

"They know how to make food! Best flavors around. We brought in fresh black snapper fillets and they grilled them into a dinner. Outstanding! The kids fish is second to none; fresh, flakey and well made. Fish tacos too! The food comes out quick Edit: Came back on our last day because there wasn’t any food anywhere near as good as Scooters. For lunch I had the platter with grilled fish, shrimp and fried oysters. My wife had the bang bang shrimp. Son had the kids fish. Amazing. Everything is noticeably fresh. The “grilled” items are actually grilled unlike other restaurants. We will be coming back tonight for dinner. Something so petty, but their tea is actually fresh brewed and not over sweetened. I couldn’t be more happy"
