Big Mike's Steakhouse

"So, I was here a year ago, and the food was absolutely awesome. We were excited to come back and eat here. We got a to go order since we have our fur babies and didn't want to leave them. I got the Big Mike, and it was not good. Texas Roadhouse is way better. My wife got the crab cakes, and they were ok, but they forgot the sauce with that dish. We spent 180.00 and might as well have just thrown it in the fire. Really sad that they have went down hill this bad since last time we were here. Before today February 3rd, 2024, I would have recommended Big Mikes to everyone. That is not the case now."

"We started with some crab stuffed oysters. They were good. The salad dressing was very creamy. I had the ribeye and it was fabulous. Perfectly charred and very juicy. The bread pudding and ice cream were fantastic!"

"We arrived at 3:45 and the line was already forming. If you have a wait, it is WELL WORTH IT! Throughout our meal, they were constantly busy and when we finished the parking lot was filled by 5:40!My partner and his brother went to Big Mikes because of the raving reviews and let me tell you, they did not disappoint!! We are from NJ and loved every bite. We had the mozzarella wedges and the sauce was so tasty! We had the fried pickles and they were very good! The fried mushrooms was also amazing! We cleaned our appetizers empty! For our entrees, we had the big Mike, filet mignon, canal road. I finished the filet mignon. My partner and his brother brought home the canal road and big Mike but they both said it was delicious! For dessert we had bread pudding with icecream, cheesecake, and caramel cake all so good that we bought extra for the rest of the party at home. The buttered bread was so good with the cinnamon butter! My partner and his brother also finished the salad which they NEVER eat salad. I don’t either but it was so good. The best steakhouse I have ever been too. Our server was wonderful as well! Next time we’re in the area we will definitely be back!"

"Best steak in Alabama (sample size of one)! Really, it was good and cooked perfectly medium rare. The fried crab craws were also very good. Appetizers should have been brought out before our salads though."
