"Oh my goodness !! I am a part time caterer and this place is 100% perfect !! Bellisimo. Catfish is fried just right. Seasons are just right, hush puppies are just right!! Absolutely perfect. "Old fashioned catfish house located in atmore Alabama. Wow! It was great! Super friendly service, ample parking and wheelchair accessible. My steak was fork tender and I never used a knife once! Everything was made to order and generous portions. Very reasonable, sweet tea was just right, and take out orders available. I’ll definitely be back!"
"Pass up the Sonic, McDs and other fast food places at this exit. Keep going and get yourself to Dixie! Some of the best catfish I’ve ever had! Perfectly crisp and tender. And the sides were just as good! Fine cut slaw and corn fritters…dang good. Very friendly and the portions were huge!"
"It's a shack alright but that's the only place you should consider eating catfish. Delicious is a word that is very inadequate in describing the catfish, fresh and delicious shrimp and one of the best coleslaw we had anywhere. Very sweet, smiling, polite and friendly staff. It will be in our "best places ever". Don't miss it"
