"Kris is incredible at what she does- color, cut, and styling! She always takes the time to listen to what you want and really does a consultation before she starts working. In the past (at other salons) I have had several bad experiences with stylists not listening or asking questions and have not been happy at all, so I really appreciate the time Kris takes to listen and work with you. This time around, my ideas weren't fully formed and the pictures I showed her for what I wanted were all very different but she still somehow managed to make my hair look exactly how I wanted it to. The salon itself is also really great, the other stylists are always kind, the front desk staff is so helpful, the environment is beautifully decorated, and every visit is an experience in itself. Love it!"

"Gwyn did my wedding hair and it was amazing. I met up with her to do a trial run at her Nashville location and while there I had a blast. She first requested both inspiration pictures for my updo and had me run through what I was imagining. She asked detailed questions to make sure we were on the same page and then got to work. Half way through we hit a snag with the style I wanted and my hair texture. Gwyn had so many ideas on how to achieve the look I wanted and end the end I loved her idea more than what I wanted initially. On the day of my wedding Gwyn was amazing. She was prompt to arrive at the venue, had everything she needed to recreate the trial look, had the pictures from the trial look to double check everything with and was even able to manage adding in some hair tinsel to my hair that’d I’d forgotten to tell her I wanted. She was done With plenty of time to spare before pictures and my hair stayed up the entire night. (And now I have enough bobby-pins to last me a lifetime haha) My over all I feel like I completely lucked out getting such an amazing stylist to do my wedding hair. The hair was beautiful and she was great."

"Salon U is hands down the best salon in the Birmingham area and Paige Goodwin is 100 percent a magician when it comes to hair!!! I have been going here since 2015 to get my hair done by Paige. The Salon is beautiful and full of kind, smiling faces. They accept all people and have top tier customer service. Paige lights up the room with her smile and her contagious laugh. Her talent with color and cuts is so incredible and I always leave feeling so good about myself."
