"I had bought a stereo, speaker, two mics, multiple cords, and A mixer. We came here because they were recommended for karaoke equipment. They gave us instructions on what we needed how to connect it. We came back several times, letting them know of feedback issues between the two mics. They would tell us to get a different cord and what have you. We were limited on our times to be able to come because we both work in the healthcare field, so are availability was sparse. On my most recent return, I decided we would bring all the speaker, cords and equipment with us. They had one gentleman working in the back, who apparently only knows guitars, and did not want to help anybody, one guy in the front, trying to manage it all by himself, and someone who called out. The gentleman in the front tried to help us as he could but he said there isn’t anyone that’s working here that knows how to put all this equipment together and recommended we contact somebody in Thomasville who could help us. The frustration I have that we bought more than $900 worth of equipment from this store only to later be told they don’t know how to connect it and we have to contact somebody that lives in a different state is very disappointing. It seems guitar center only understands guitars, and is limited by the other equipment they sell and they didn’t standby their product even when it was brought in the store. I’ve sat on this for more than a week now and I just wish we could return it all and buy from another source. I certainly recommend anyone wanting a guitar to go here, but be weary of any other items as if you have an issue, they might tell you the same thing, nobody’s there that knows how to use that device. Seems seems like money well spent."

"Eyyy I actually get my piano lessons here, my piano teacher is a really chill guy!! And the employees are super chill, basically. I just like all the employees, they have a wide selection of pianos. They also sell self-teaching books too."

"Awesome place for any musician, well trained staff can answer all of your questions as well as Band issues and Professional Broadcast Standards. They also offer music lessons to all ages and skill levels. Today I picked up a Mixer, some guitar cables and some adapter plugs. Here is are photos from yesterday. :)Todd W. Byars"

"After hovering in the location in close proximity to employees lost in their own conversations, it took 8-10 minutes to even be acknowledged when I made it look like I needed answers. After I found something I wanted more information about, I was told new product prices on clearance items can not be adjusted, which is fair. When I found the same item used, they refused to price match the companies own website advertised used price (which was a difference of $10.) In the same moments I'd been looking for help with the used item, I'd identified the manager, who had talked about being ready to go on break with me standing behind him, and when I asked for his help, I got an immediate hand up and rudely told "I'm on break" as he power walked away. It is this mindset that causes businesses like this to close down. I don't necessarily blame the employees because most of it is corporate policy and unwillingness to contribute to employee financial health, but this behavior doesn't reflect the public image these companies want to be represented. They missed out on a cash sale. And while it doesn't matter to them, it matters in the long run because this is a failure mindset. I will not be returning to this location as long as it can be helped. I don't recommend your money going here either. There are small town shops that could put it to better use."

"A really great selection of guitars. I used to review this at 5-Stars However, I recently lost a small battery clip for my Washburn Accoustic Electric. I purchased this guitar from the Guitar Center, and they are listed as a Washburn service center(along with many other brands). After calling and being assured on the phone, they had the part, I drove an hour to Tallahassee. Upon arriving, I was told no, they didn't have it. After telling the clerk I had called, she went to the rear to get a service person. He came out and said they did not have it and could not help. So.. I've had to modify my review. The guitar I bought is cheaper via AMAZON. If Guitar Center does not offer service, why pay more? Go in, find your guitar, order online, and save a couple of hundred dollars or more!"
