"I only go here to get service to make it easy for myself if I ever have to get warranty work done and need proof of proper service. I stopped getting service at Five Star because of their "sell more" mentality. Sutton was straightforward the first few times I went. The last few times I have gone, they have attempted to sell me something else. This last time they found a "significant" oil leak on my car but didn't know where it was. To find the leak they needed to "diagnose" it for $145. Me being a multicraft mechanic that works on equipment for a living, I declined. No way I would pay $145 to have a leak "diagnosed" when I know the tech already saw where it was leaking from when they were servicing the car. Not a single drop of oil on my driveway or undercarriage. No burning oil smell coming from my car when it's running. If there's a leak it's minimal. I'll find it myself and have it fixed under warranty from the dealer I bought it from."

"Paid $200 for a diagnostic, oil change, and tire rotation. I drive a 2012 Chevy Cruze. Right after cranking up the car I would get a message on the dash that read "A/C off due to high engine temp" even if the car had been sitting in the garage all night. I told them to check my temperature sensors and they said the sensors were fine but that I needed to replace the water pump, AC compressor, & the battery. (Over $2000 in repairs) I replaced the water pump and am still having the same problem as before. Spent $900 and nothing got fixed."
